The room was lovely and spacious and the garden rooms are very dog friendly. It was great having direct access to the outside from the room for our dog and she loved the large grounds. It's very handy having a fridge in the room and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. This was our 2nd time here and we'll be back.

The grounds are beautiful. I stayed in a river view room with a balcony: so peaceful and relaxing. The room was very nice, but if your priority is a good mattress and plump pillows, mine were not great. But not terrible either. The staff are friendly and helpful overall. Scottish breakfast was good. Several large groups moved through in the 4 days I was there, so it became quite bustling.

Beautiful location, staff very welcoming and attentive. Excellent evening meal in the restaurant on both nights we stayed. Attention to detail of the staff was superb. The hotel is undergoing a running update so things will only get better. Thoroughly recommend, we will be returning.
