The secure entry card did not work and we could not enter the building or our room without the help of the staff so no privacy and no being able to go to the bathroom without being worried about leaving the room open and unattended certainly a safety issue the rooms need spare key cards

I was called 1.5 hours before check in that damage meant my room was now unavailable. There was only very expensive accommodation to be found on the net at the late stage. Great way to make non-customers in the future.

You get what you pay for but this was pretty dismal. No soap in the shared bathroom closest to my room so I went and bought my own which was promptly removed, along with my towel, when the bathroom was cleaned and never returned. There is filtered water in the shared kitchen but don't forget to travel with a cup so you can enjoy it. It's the small touches that make staying somewhere great and this didn't even have that.

Toilets and showers on my floor were quite new. However they were only cleaned once in a week of staying there. Dont stay here thinking you can just go downstairs and grab a beer. You MUST buy a full meal to drink in their restaurant and even in the beer garden.

The restaurant downstairs panchos was amazing staff where excellent do wish the room i stayed in had a smart tv but other than that i couldn't falt it

My twin room faces internal court yard. So bit noisy with pub goers and air isn’t fresh due to window not facing the external walls of building. Staff member are very friendly.

The hotel was cheap, and the standards of services and facilities reflected that. It is in a dingy part of town, and there was a lot of noise from people in the street and noises from the port (sirens from the port woke me up a few time - not police or ambulance sirens, but machinery sirens I think). I had to ring a number from outside the hotel to get someone to let me in for check in. It is secure and it has secure car parking, which is very good. The room was clean, and the shared bathroom facilities were generally clean too. Very old building but clearly has had some renovations.

It is not fancy. Is exactly as advertised. The staff were polite . I liked its great location close to port and train and shops and if I hadn't been unwell while there I would have gone downstairs to enjoy the pub! FYI contrary to what is said online there are no laundry facilities at this hotel! I had to go to a laudrautte down the street.
