Nice place, no transportation.

We enjoyed the Bologna house. It was high up on the hill and could only get there by taxi or bus. Very seldom were we able to find an available taxi and the bus just drove past where we stayed. When we called the property manager and said we were having trouble getting rides, he hung up on us. Property was nice but not a place I would return to.

Nice clean apartment with an incredible view!

Very nice apartment with the minimum needed for comfort and with wonderful views of Lake Como. A car is needed to reach the top of the mountain, preferably a very small car as the road is too narrow for two cars in some places. There are 18 extreme ("U") turns to go the 6.8 km from the town to the apartment. The numbering of the houses is not contiguous, it is better to look for Bologna Rd and then continue on Via per Esino a few hundred yards more. There is no WiFi nor nearby stores, so make sure to do your shopping and internet business in Varenna before climbing up. In spite of getting lost initially and the daily driving on the winding road, my wife and I enjoyed our 5 day stay very much.

Cudowny widok z tarasu.

Czysty , przestronny apartament z pięknym widokiem na jezioro Como.Wygodne łóżko. Minusy to brak WiFi , dodatkowo płatny parking i daleko do centrum .
