The region’s large lakes—Osterseen, Starnberger See, Kochelsee, Walchensee, and Tegernsee—are among the most beautiful in the Bavarian Oberland and are all just a few minutes’ drive away.
Hiking trails start practically right outside the front door: Benediktenwand, Jochberg, Herzogstand, or the many short hikes around Penzberg. Those who prefer cycling will find varied routes throughout the Oberland. And for golfers, there are several courses nearby that fit perfectly into a relaxing day of vacation.
