I think it's more properly called a motel than a hotel, as all rooms open onto exposed walkways, with no interior hallways. Close parking was difficult at times. The properly needs additional disabled parking spaces closer to the elevators, in addition to the office. There needs to be a restroom close to the pool. (If there was one I couldn't find it.) The pool area and the bay access were nice. The room was clean. A request for additional soap was quickly handled. I don't mean to sound negative. It was a fine stay for the money and I would stay there again if I wanted something in the area. And the staff was helpful and cheerful.

Pictures and description of property were misleading. It was dirty, loud, and overall run down. The pool and private beach area were okay. The central location to the public beach and other businesses were a saving grace.

First, I’d like to note that this is more of a motel than a hotel, as it has exterior entrances rather than interior hallways. It’s a typical beachside motel—conveniently located and generally as expected for the area. However, housekeeping during the stay would make a big difference. For instance, offering fresh towels mid-stay would be a great improvement.

family beach vacay

Pool area was great and having the bay right out back with kayaks and paddle boards was such a fantastic treat! Breakfast included, eggs, meat, toast, oatmeal, grits and a make your own waffle are. The only negative was that there was some black mold in the ceiling (maybe to be expected at the beach?). My throat hurt pretty badly since I am highly allergic to mold. On our last day, we got a surprise when the Blue Angels flew over! Amazing location in walking distance to beach and boardwalk.
