Emerald Isle 0104 is a two-bedroom, Gulf-front condo located directly on Pensacola Beach, offering the convenience of ground-floor access and direct entry to the beach via the on-site boardwalk. With Gulf views from both the living area and primary bedroom, this condo provides a comfortable and well-positioned setting for a relaxed coastal stay.
The open living area features comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and large glass doors that fill the space with natural light and lead to a private Gulf-front patio. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and everything needed for preparing meals, while the dining area offers seating for four, along with additional seating at the kitchen bar.
The primary bedroom includes a king bed, a private ensuite bathroom, Gulf views, and direct access to the patio. The guest bedroom features two twin beds and is conveniently located near a full bathroom. The living room also includes a sleeper sofa, allowing the condo to comfortably accommodate up to six guests.
Guests have access to a range of resort amenities, including two Gulf-front pools, one of which is seasonally heated, a hot tub, fitness center, sauna, private beach boardwalk, outdoor showers, and gated property access. The condo also includes a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and two parking spaces. Complimentary seasonal beach service is provided from March through October and includes two chairs and one umbrella, weather permitting.

Great place to stay in Pensacola

This was a great place for us for a girl's trip. There were five of us and we had plenty of space, it was right on the beach and we had access to a lot of shopping and great, Pensacola unique places to eat. I highly recommend.

Location

Great location. Beach and pool front, just down the elevator and through the lobby. Two chairs and one umbrella per day and parking included. Large balcony, furnished. Washer and dryer. King bed with in suite bathroom. Second room, two twin beds, second bathroom off of living room. Cleaning could be better. Bring your own pillows, blankets, cleaning products. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Amazing location

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice condo. Communication from mgmt was top notch. Unit could’ve been cleaner. No beach/pool towels available. But location couldn’t be beat!

Condo in need of TLC

The location is wonderful and the building is great. However, this particular unit is in need of updates and attention to details. The beds are in desperate need of replacing. There is a kitchen cabinet that is near to falling off the wall. The dryer vent was smash which did not allow close to dry unless you pulled the dryer about 3 ft from the wall. The second bathroom was unusable due to the shower diverted not staying in the on position. Great potential if the owners put some effort into the property. It kind of sucks because after spending a good amount of money I can only make it better for others.

Pros and Cons

This unit has pros and cons. Overall, we enjoyed our time here but there are definitely a few things that need attention. Pros: Great location to beach and restaurants/shopping, nice pool area, our experience with elevator was pleasant because we were on first floor, lots of carts for unloading and loading, and there was always available parking. Cons: Water pressure was so bad that our guest bathroom typically couldn’t run the shower head, drain in master bath shower was very slow, a fish smell came from guest bathroom sink drain until we finally seemed to neutralize it with Fabuluso, and the air ran nonstop just to keep the condo around 76 degrees. It was warm in there. *We did call property management the second day and had to leave a message about the air. We never heard back, but decided we could just live with it instead of spending our time calling. Overall, this is a nice Condominium. We will most likely try a different unit in the future as some of our complaints have been in the “cons” of reviews over the past few years.

Very disappointed in the condo, floors were dirty and had not been mopped, bathrooms weren't cleaned, sheets had stains on them, no stopper in the sink in kitchen so we could do dishes, no potholders, stains down the doors where previous guests had spilled things and some plug-ins didn't work. Overall very dirty and we payed cleaning fee and it was not clean AT ALL. Also we stayed in this same location several years ago and that condo was awesome and very clean and very happy with it, big disappointment with this condo and will never rent this one again.

The unit was OK the beds were very uncomfortable the balcony was right over the pool but you could still see the beach The 1st day we got there it poured rain all day and there were no games in the unit. The ice maker was broken but the management brought us 2 bags of ice. The dryer was not working properly, the water pressure was very week the last day was so bad the shower dripped water. Then the front doors of the complex broke I pinhead to manually push them to open. The an elevator broke making elevator wait time very long.

Great location, not super clean

Pros: Loved the location, rental people were great and very responsive. Had towels, a fridge, and was on the first floor above the lobby which was nice. The living area was well thought out and there was a vacuum there to clean the sand off the floors that would accumulate throughout the day. The view was beautiful, the pool was nice. Cons: was not very clean (floors were sticky and there was half of a muffin under the couch). The furniture and decor was somewhat dated. The sofa bed wasn’t super comfortable. Several outlets didn’t work well and the water pressure was annoyingly low, as other reviews stated. Honestly though, the property managers were great so I know that had I contacted them about these issues they would’ve been resolved, but who wants to do that on vacation?

Great location, nice unit!

We are a family of four and this unit is a great location within walking distance to restaurants and some shops. RWe went on spring break this year and it wasn’t overwhelming with college kids. The unit is located above the pool, but we did not have any issues with noise at early/late hours, but this might be different during the summer months when busier. The unit was clean, but could use a deep cleaning, like the bathroom floor grout. Also, the sofa could definitely be replaced; not supportive at all for older folks. Hated the fact that they still have a physical key and not a code lock on the door. One key did not work and we had a false alarm that we locked the wrong key in the unit and had to call the superintendent, but after hours they are not located on sight. We found other key which we inadvertently dropped in car, so we were good. Next day I went to the office and we received a new key no problem. Office was helpful in providing info about activities and have bikes to use for free. We did not use them however. Instructions to enter unit were a bit unclear and we tried to use the gate code to the condos where the office is located. Emerald Isle is next door to the office so you need to drive out of that parking lot and go to the next property. Not a big issue though. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Loved the location. Water pressure terrible, No kitchen sink and toilet or Shower or it’s a trickle. Maintenance at the entire condo was VERY noisy. Jackhammer and drill ALL day long beginning at 8am. Needs update

Great place

Pros- family friendly atmosphere. Clean and Chris at check in and check out with premier island was awesome. Beach was beautiful and the beach chairs provided were great with lazy day rentals. Con- when anyone would use the water faucet or flush a toilet the water pressure would be almost nonexistent. All in all we would definitely stay again.

Fun, needs attention

This is our second year staying in this unit. The good: For us, we like being on the 1st floor. It's easier access when the elevators are busy. (Just beware that the stairs are down only!) It's also great for people watching at the pool. Also, daily chair rentals were included which were a great bonus. The not so good: You can tell that the unit gets a lot of traffic. The unit was clean, but a lot of things look worn. The main bath needs painting. Water pressure is very low, so only one person can take a shower. The dryer and coffee maker do not work well at all. Also, the building itself needs updating. The gym wasn't useful for me. (Lacking free weights.) And the doors were a problem all weekend for everyone. (The pin codes are confusing, and some of the doors were broken.) When a storm comes in, you have hundreds of people crammed in the lobby trying to catch an elevator since there's no stair access to go up. We had great trip, and we do like the where it's located. But we'll likely try something else in the future.
