Love the location. Service is shaky. Front desk worker barely greets you and doesn’t stand up so you’re looking down at them when they help you. Kind of weird. Wanted to order breakfast but the cook hadn’t shown up to work and they didn’t know when they’d be opening.

We stayed on our 2 week vacation twice here at the River Lodge…1 night on our way to the Oregon coast and 1 night on the way back home to Idaho. The first stay was very nice experience…room was nice, big, clean updated room # 208. The property was beautiful…has a great view of the river…nice comfy easy chairs. We had dinner at their restaurant…good food. Second stay not as good. Our room #202 was more used room..lil worn. Our view was the pool…the easy chairs were armless ones…not comfy at all! The restaurant was closed for dinner. My back had gone out during our trip so I needed to have a comfy chair…our room didn’t have one…so called the front desk explained my dilemma…the lady was very happy to accommodate us and changed out the chairs for like the ones we had the first time…it really helped and made the stay better. We appreciated her diligence in helping out!

Check in Staff “Alma “ was professional and adorable! She gets 10 stars! The hotel rooms are dated and need help. The view is wonderful. The soap in the bathroom was a highlight, crazy right?
