On entering the hotel I was told to wait… even though I was the only one there…whilst the old guy behind the glass sloooooowly counted some cash and put it in envelopes. I stood there for 20 minutes whilst he did this! Eventually the lady next to him stepped in and helped me out. I’ve never had a situation where I was made to feel like I was not wanted at a hotel - VERY poor service. The room itself was in a bad way. Mould and hair around the basin, broken toilet seat and everything just needed a really good clean. On the back of the door it states “no prostitution” - so you can probably get a sense of the vibe. On the positive side the mattress was ok and the price was reasonable. My recommendation - look elsewhere. And to the hotel… can I suggest you only have the lady behind the glass wall - who was helpful - and find somewhere to hide the man (and his cash filled envelopes)
