This historic farmhouse is part of a large, well-established biodynamic wine estate which exports worldwide and has been in the family for generations. Now a private home, it has been lovingly restored and updated with a combination of traditional furnishings and modern touches to give a sense of luxury. All rooms are very spacious and air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room ensure cool comfort at all times.
On the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen, two dining areas, a sitting/reading area, a double bedroom (no a/c), a bathroom with shower, laundry room, entrance hall and very large living room with two comfortable seating areas, TV, fireplace and library area.
Stairs from the entrance hall lead up to the first floor where there are four large bedrooms, three double and one twin, each with their own private bathroom and the master bedroom also has its own private lounge area with TV. All bathrooms offer walk-in shower, two also have a separate bathtub.
Outside you will find a small lemon-house leading from the kitchen to an external dining area with brick-built barbecue, then as you follow the slope of the hill you come to the pool area which offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby is a wisteria-covered gazebo providing some welcome shade and another table and chairs for al fresco dining. For the younger members of your party, you will find a swing and wooden play house in the grounds. Only a short drive from several charming unspoilt villages, this villa is perfectly located for exploring the most famous cities of Tuscany.

Ghizzano - is a small hilltop village, about 200m above sea level, not far from the Tuscan coast, in an area referred to as the ’Colline Pisane’ (Pisan Hills). The surrounding countryside is rich in vineyards, olive trees and gentle hills. The landscape is gentle and the climate mild, thanks to the sea breeze. The hamlet features a small grocery store, a fruit and vegetable shop, a coffee bar, a restaurant, a butcher shop, and a pharmacy. At a short drive is the pretty village of Peccioli offering a wider range of facilities. Peccioli - A traditional, hilltop village with a rich etruscan and medieval history and an Archeological Museum, the Russian Icons Museum, the Romanic parish Church San Verano and the Madonna del Carmine Church.
