"Spectacular sea view. The room was large, but dated. The owner was very kind and responsive. I deducted a star because of the listing indicates the property listings indicates it is wheelchair accessible with some limitations and the stairs lots of stairs without railings. My travel partner has two artificial knees so she has some limitations. She ended up spending a great deal of time in the room because it was so difficult for her to go down the stairs to the beach or to walk in to town. I would happily give the property five stars and spite of the dated interior if there were railings on the stairs and the listing indicated that there were lots of stairs involved to get anywhere to get to the pool to get to the beach to get to the parking lot. Would I stay here again? If railings were installed I would happily stay there again until then I can't."

"Loved our stay at Anassa Mare. We travelled in a group of 8 with a two room apartment and 4 bedroom villa with pool. We loved it. The beach bar was great, staff lovely and only a short trip into Gaios. Would highly recommend."

"A beautiful, calm property. A perfect base to explore this beautiful island. Ideally need a car to get to and from Lakka as hill is quite steep but that’s a small price to pay to stay in what feels like a rural beauty. Feels very Provençal / Tuscan. The staff were EXCELLENT. Anna, the hotel manager gave us a full list of recommended restaurants, beaches and towns. We went to every one and they were exceptional. Right on point. The guys who served us our beautiful breakfast each morning were so lovely. Polite, remembered what we liked and so friendly. We love to travel and we’ll alway hold gorgeous memories of Paxos."
