Cottage with private wine cellar below Děvičky, Pavlov

Chaloupka Pálava is an authentic cottage in the heart of Pavlov, a heritage-listed wine village in the Pálava reserve of South Moravia. Its standout feature is its own private wine cellar, yours alone throughout your stay, where the air stays cool and a Pavlov vintage waits to be enjoyed.

Inside, the cottage is simple and bright, with white walls, wooden ceiling beams and parquet floors. The open-plan parlour and kitchen has a large dining table, two sofas and a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and complete crockery, glassware and cutlery. Everything is on one floor.

The cottage sleeps up to five guests plus two extra beds. The first bedroom has a double and a single bed, the second a double bed, and the parlour offers a pull-out double sofa. The spacious bathroom has a bath and shower, hairdryer and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, toiletries, Wi-Fi throughout and heating are all included.

Outside there is a large garden with a vine-shaded pergola, terrace, loungers and an outdoor grill, plus free parking right at the cottage. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

The location is hard to beat: a five-minute walk to the Pavlov vineyards and Archeopark, about ten minutes to the Děvičky castle ruin, and 600 metres to the beach on the Nové Mlýny reservoir. Wine bars, an inn and a wine shop are all a short stroll away. By car you can reach Mikulov (8 km), Lednice château (14 km) and Brno (36 km). Whether you come for hiking on the Pálava ridge, wine tasting, or quiet days by the water, Pavlov makes a wonderful base.
