Villa 51 - Pauanui Lakes Resort Retreat

Step outside and the resort is yours to enjoy. Spend the day at the sparkling outdoor swimming pool, swim a few lengths in the lap pool, or stretch out poolside with a book and a cold drink. When you’re ready for more, there’s a gym, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course bordering the resort, all just a short stroll from your door.

Villa 51 is the only villa in the resort with three double bedrooms, making it a standout choice for families and groups who want space to spread out. Inside, the open-plan living areas flow onto a sunny patio with views across the Lakes Resort. Air conditioning and heat pumps keep things comfortable whatever the season, and fibre Wi-Fi means you can stream, plan your days or catch up when needed.

Upstairs, the main bedroom is a true retreat, with a queen bed, a private balcony and an ensuite complete with a spa bath. Bedrooms two and three each have a queen bed and share a generous second bathroom. Downstairs, a guest toilet and full laundry add extra convenience, which is especially handy for longer stays.

The resort sits within a bird sanctuary, home to more than 18 species of native birds, so expect birdsong as your soundtrack. Mobile reception is limited here, the perfect excuse to put the phone down and properly switch off.

When you feel like a change of scene, Pauanui’s beautiful beach is just a 10-minute drive away. Grab an ice cream, browse the local shops and stock up on supplies before heading back to the resort for an afternoon swim.
