The hotel was clean and our stay was comfortable. The staff was great. The only thing that was different was the layout of the bed on a platform to accommodate more people if necessary, however the switch controlling the lights was a bit awkward.

We enjoyed our poolside room in this historic hotel. Yes, in some ways it could use a bit of updating, but those reviewers who focus on that miss the “Heritage” part of this hotel, which really does capture old Bangsaen. We are delighted that it’s still in operation, and in a stylish “Thai” way.

Its advertised as a 4 start hotel, but its clearly not. We couldnt even get a toothpaste from the hotel as they dont provide it. The pool is very average, but its good for kids. Gym lacks cleanliness and new equipment
