We stayed here for one night during high season December 2025. The hotel was nice but very busy during check in time causing delay for guests to get into room at the available check in time. Our booking including free spa service but somehow the staff couldn’t see that it was included on their end. I had to show them my booking confirmation. When I went to use the onsen, I had to show them my free spa service again as she tried to request payment. The room was nice but the pillows could be more comfortable. Overall, it was an okay experience and stay.

Akara is a nice looking hotel. Rooms are nice, also pool, gym, onsen, etc. There were 5 of us in 2 rooms and was asked to pay extra which is kind of strange but we settled. Rooms were comfortable. Although a few nights there were loud music in the middle of the night from a nearby pub I believe. When we checked out, staffs told us that they would charge us 500 baht for each key card if we failed to return them. Which was also strange. Not any hotel we stayed in ever charge us for a lost piece of plastic. Anyway, overall it was fine.

Super slow receptionist at check in and disorganized. We arrived early, provided all the check in information, room was not ready. We returned at 5pm, waited 30 mins for the receptionist to give us a room card. The room itself is nice and new. Table and sofa had coffee stains on it. The rest of the room and bathroom appeared clean.

This is a great hotel to stay at. My room was fantastic! The view is amazing. The breakfast buffet is a no brainer. Every kind of food you can want for breakfast. I'm a celiac and still lots of options for me to eat. The roof top pool is awesome. 5 min walk to terminal 21. All in all a great place to stay in Pattaya.
