The aptly named AZZ valencia is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Spain and on Expedia. Room condition horrible, staff obnoxious (especially the imbecilic dining manager on duty Saturday night who refused me a table (nobody was there) because he had “too many reservations”. Everything in my room from toilet to door to furniture horribly work. Expedia do NOT let the mgmt make some stupid platitude “we are sorry your stay was not to your liking”. KICK THIS HOTEL OFF YOUR PLATFORM. It’s not an 8.4 rating by ANY standard. It’s a repositioned office building with cheap tatty furniture bad location and bad staff.

We stayed at the AZZ Valencia Congress Hotel & Spa while visiting for the Hyrox event, and sadly our experience was very disappointing. There was no tea or coffee station in the room, meaning we had to go all the way down to the lobby just to buy drinks. They weren’t complimentary either — £2.50 for a tiny paper cup of coffee to then carry back to the room. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and the room never felt cool or comfortable. The bathroom toiletries (hand wash, shower gel, conditioner) were almost empty when we arrived and were never replenished during our stay. After the event, we came back hoping to have a celebratory drink, but were left waiting at the bar for about 10 minutes with no service. The reception staff saw us but didn’t offer any help, and when we asked, we were told the bar doesn’t open until 7 PM. Throughout our stay, the reception team weren’t particularly friendly, which made the experience even less enjoyable. On Saturday night, there was a birthday party with a DJ outside, and the music was so loud it echoed through the building, making it impossible to relax or even hear the TV. Then early Monday morning, we were woken up by cleaners slamming doors, dragging furniture, and talking loudly in the corridor. Overall, poor service, lack of comfort, and no attention to detail. Definitely not what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. Would not stay again or recommend.

La habitación está bien y el personal es agradable. A pesar de que haya spa en el hotel, no está incluido y se paga aparte. La zona no tiene nada alrededor, el metro está bastante lejos y los horarios del transporte público son poco frecuentes. Ideal si tienes eventos en la feria y te mueves en taxi. El gimnasio tiene lo básico y está abierto 24h. Otra cosa positiva es el lobby, que tiene un espacio agradable si necesitas trabajar unas horas.

The hotel itself was lovely. Very spacious, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were lovely and again very spacious. The breakfast was a little disappointing and the main reason we booked there was because it said it was a 2 minutes drive to the Fira when it fact it was more like 8 so was a solid 40 minutes walk. Nevertheless though it was a great weekend in a lovely hotel

The hotel was severely understaffed. On the first night, I had to go down to the front desk two times just to get a towel. The next day, after housekeeping cleaned our room, they forgot to replace the towels entirely. When I called to ask for some, they told me I’d have to come to the lobby to get them myself! Absolutely the worst room service experience I’ve ever had.

Says there is a bar and restaurant. However bar is only open from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm and restaurant is only open from 8:00 am to 10 am for breakfast and 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm for dinner. As there are no places near by to eat this is very inconvenient the same with the spa and pool features. Can only be accessed after 5:00 pm. The hotel itself is quite nice but lacks in the overall on what was expected

The breakfast is very repetitive and could do with some variety. There is NO ENGLISH TEA, I repeat, NO ENGLISH TEA… this is not a drill. I have never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t serve standard tea. Also, there is no complimentary drinks in the room AT ALL! This is unheard of since 40 years ago and should be a basic requirement within a 4 star hotel.
