Lovely hotel in Passignano sul Trasimeno

We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. Bruno is the consummate host, and both his hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno.

Lovely hotel in Passignano sul Trasimeno

We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. The owner, Bruno, was extremely helpful, and the hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. Both the hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum See hinaus. Das Gebäude selbst ist über die Jahre gut gepflegt und instand gehalten worden, es hat schon fast etwas Nostalgisches an sich. Alles ist tadellos sauber! Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Zum Hotel gehört ein Campingplatz, der aber nicht groß ist und auch nicht weiter auffällt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This was one of the nicest stays I’ve had at any European hotel. Friendliest hosts. Breakfast was typical European style with eggs, meat, danish, etc. lakefront with 2 pools and hot tub. Our room balcony overlooking the lake was a joy … every evening with some wine and cheese. 😃

the staff was very attentive. the bartender made great suggestions for local wines, the restaurant had a wide selection as a well as two special dinners each night. the facility also had an outdoor pool which we didn't use as it is not heated and it was mid october6 we did see hearty souls swimming laps though. they also have a small jacuzzi. and best of all it is right on Lake Trasimeno. would absolutely stay there sgain.

We very much like this hotel. The owners were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Be aware that it surrounded by a camp site, who share the facilities, and in the high season, I imagine the camp site would be very busy. In early October, this wasn't a problem though.

We enjoyed 11 lakeside days at Kursaal during which time we experienced courteous and very helpful service from the efficient staff. Our room was more than adequate though an attic room, a lakeview room would have been preferable.There is a full range of amenities available at no extra charge and the restaurant serves excellent meals, with a variety of wines at reasonable prices unlike most rip off establishments, there really is no need to look elsewhere. It is an ideal location to tour Umbria and Tuscany, and the famous historical towns and the regions wineries.

A lovely family-run hotel on Lake Trasimeno

We have just returned from our stay at Hotel Kursaal and couldn't have had a better hotel to stay in on Lake Trasimeno. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Places of interest to visit e.g. Perugia, Assisi, Siena etc.

Campingplatz mit Hotel

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Campingplatz ca. 20 Minuten vom Ort entfernt. Zu Fuß nur über eine sehr befahrene Straße erreichbar. Hatte ein Zimmer im 3.Stock ohne jede Aussicht. Es gab ein Dachfenster an der Decke, ein 2.Dachfenster war zugebaut. Für 90€ eine Zumutung. Personal ist freundlich.
