In these times of stress and drama we live in, finding a place where you can truly feel safe and protected can be difficult. But thats exactly what our guests typically remark on. They feel safe once inside our gates. Recently renovated darling studio cottage (500 sq ft) Beautifully appointed. King size temperpedic. Comfy living area with big screen TV/surround sound. Kitchenette with toaster oven/microwave/Coffee maker/ BBQ. Condiments. Separate bath with stalls shower. Electric fireplace creates a warm ambience. 3 french doors open to the pool area on one side and to the covered patio on the west side where you can sit by the fire pit and enjoy our incredible sunsets reflected in the 3 acre private lake.

Wildlife galore with Ducks, Herons, Deer, and more. You'll feel like your 500 miles from civilization yet your only 5 minutes from town. 5 minutes from Vina Robles our world class concert venue! Casa De Oro el sol. The house of the golden Sunsets! This is an accommodation for two guests only, and is in a private gated community. Lovers getaway? Anniversary surprise? Sorry, no children allowed. The lake and pool proximity and lack of restraints nullifies our insurance. One small dog can be allowed, but not left in the unit alone.
The pool is available in Season from noon to 6PM. Parking for one vehicle. Because of the shared private neighborhood we live in, no events are allowed, nor additional guests.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cottage, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchenette is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a microwave. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

The setting was magical, and the accommodations were comfortable. It is close enough to the highway that you can get to just about anywhere you want to go in Paso easily, and yet it feels secluded and completely separate from city life. That made it perfect for my husband and me. He liked the outdoorsy countryside feel, I liked that I could get to a Starbucks and a 24 mini mart within 5 minutes. We loved our stay!

Tom’s place

Tom’s cottage is great! So private, rural, and beautiful. Tom guided us well, gave us absolute privacy, and had the cottage stocked and ready. It was clean and nicely appointed. We’ll be back for sure!

Well, it was our 2nd visit in the same month, that's how much we love it! Not sure how much I can add from my last review, except to say that we especially enjoy not having to interact with other guests, this is a place for one couple and that's it! It is absolutely peaceful and beautiful. It was our last trip before we both head back to work, and we are recharged and ready to go.

Incredible location and Setting!

My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway in early June and could not have picked a better spot. We love Paso Robles, the downtown restaurants and shops, the park and local wineries in the surrounding area. This casita was perfectly located to visit all of our favorite spots and yet we felt like we are miles away from everything. Tom's property is incredible and the evening views overlooking the pond (I'd call it a lake!) while watching the sunset were extraordinary. We bbq'd on the patio, drank our favorite wines and listened to music through the Blue-tooth capable Sound Bar. We loved out time spent here and are planning another weekend here in the Fall!
