I had to travel to NJ at the last minute for a work ordeal. This was the one place that had openings at an affordable price. The first thing I noticed was the smell ~ as if someone had sprayed a whole can of Febreze in a musty basement. Even the room smelled that way. I checked to room and it seemed to be fairly clean. I was going to be working 12 hour days, and the bathroom seemed old, but clean. On the 2nd day of my 3-day stay, when I turned the bathroom light on, 4-5 bugs scattered away. Later I researched. They were silverfish. I notified the front desk on my way out. She didn't seem to know what to do, and had no reaction. I asked to be moved. There weren't any clean rooms. I was told to call in the afternoon. When I did, I was told that there weren't any bugs in the room. THEY ARGUED WITH ME!! I found other lodgings, collected my belongings and checked-out early. The hotel could not refund my stay as I had pre-paid. This whole situation was extremely frustrating, and I would certainly expect a refund from Expedia. Do not stay at the Ramada, Wyndham in Parsippany, NJ
