Pros: This tiny (even by European standards) apartment is in an excellent location. The room was very clean and very quiet. Easy access to Mabillon, Odeon, Saint-Michel Metros. Direct RER B access from CDG.Wonderful restaurants and bakeries just steps away. Very secure building. The shower is very small and might be a tight fit if you are tall but plenty of hot water with good pressure. Bonus - the soaps and shampoo smelled lovely. 2 burner induction stove works great and mini fridge big enough to hold a decent amount of groceries. Very utilitarian but good value for the money, given location. Bed surprisingly comfy.CONS: Listing does not mention there are 27 stairs and no elevator. I was traveling for an art workshop and had a large suitcase full of art supplies. The images look like it is on the ground floor. It's not. The bed takes up about 75% of the room. Getting into bathroom means squeezing thru 8" gap between the bed and wall. If I could have opened the metal shutters outside the window (shown open in the pix) it would have felt less like a cell. Not a place I loved hanging out in.Check in was a disaster. I arrived in Paris at 6am put luggage with Stasher and walked around until check in at 3pm. Asked for checkin email repeatedly, never got it. Not able to check in, spent 90 min on phone () with VRBO. Just as we were about to rebook, they finally reached Host and I got in. No explanation no apology. Glad it wasn't raining. Better communication with checkout.
