Gorgeous house, amazing people

The house was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated with all mod cons, short walk to bus stop with regular buses to Disney. Couldn't fault anything, there was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Cecilia and Laurent couldn't have been more helpful, Cecilia helped us to obtain Annual Passes in advance of our booking and they were waiting for us on our arrival. She went above and beyond to help us and I can't thank her enough. Will definitely return and would highly recommend this Villa to anyone.

Lovely Villa

We had a lovely time (6 adults, 4 children and 1 baby). The villa was well furnished with lovely pieces of furniture, a very well equipped kitchen and very clean, in a very nice quiet area. The garden was lovely, well kept, a nice sized garden for both the adults and children to unwind in of an evening The hostess Cecille could not have been any more helpful, or kind. We all loved it. The villa is only a short 10 minute bus ride (which costs 2 Euros per person, under 5's are free) away from Disneyland. Much better than staying in Disneyland itself. We look forward to going back for another stay.

Extra !!!

Not what it says on the tin !!

On the whole a tidy house but don’t be fooled by the description, the house is NOT wheelchair friendly. There is a double 6” step to the front door level and all others had a large step into the garden. The ground floor bedroom has a very narrow passage and is a small room. We were nine including one severely disabled person in a wheelchair, and two elderly parents. You can’t stay there with 12, there aren’t enough seats and only 3 rings on the cooker, which didn’t work when we arrived. The lawn had dirty cloths and bread littering it. Cecelia is very difficult to deal with, she cancelled the online payment option insisting on cash payment on arrival, no receipt was given for the rent or deposit. She claimed that the rent shown is for 8 people & the extra is charged per night. She agreed to meet at 7pm, but was 1/2hr late, then she said we agreed 8pm. She arranged the hospital bed we need, at great expense, and charged to empty the room and put things back. Her friends live across the road, and she kept popping to see them leaving us feeling watched and needing supervision! There were cobwebs in the ceiling corners & a VERY large spider in the lounge. The kitchen had dirty plates and some dirty cutlery , we chose to wash this. There were loose prawns lying in the freezer, no rubbish bags and the container for glass recycling was missing, no information on rubbish collection & recycling, she chose to come to put the bins out. There was no real information on the area, only old leaflets left by others including one of their invoices with names, prices and email details. One of the beds was very noisy, and COLLAPSED on the 3rd night when a carer sat on it. She said the person was too heavy and she didn’t want to come to look at it. The bed was made of cheap chipboard & had been repaired before. The 2nd bed showed that it had been repaired before. One of the metal inserts to hold the bed together was missing and the hole had worn so that it would not hold the bolts. She replaced the bed after a botched attempt to mend it, but left the frame in the room. She said it was our fault and took a significant fee from the deposit – angry that WE had not been around to let the man in. She was very rude and told my wife to ”BE QUIET LADY”. She complained we left the light on in the kitchen when I answered the door to her. Wouldn’t stay there again if you paid me, rent a Disney hotel instead, at least you know the characters are a joke before you get there.

Wonderful holiday!

Great family home. There were 8 adults and two children and the home was perfect for us. It was a 10 minute walk to the grocery store and various restaurants. As well the bus stop was only a couple minutes walk that would take us to Disneyland. And we found the buses were always on time. The home was well equipped and spacious...although we spent most of our time at Disney. I would recommend the house for anyone wanting to be close enough to Disney as well as accommodating 10 people.

Very enjoyable stay

We stayed at this property as a party of 7 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. We found there to be plenty of room for the amount of people staying. It has a very homely feel to the place, unlike a hotel and lots of Disney memorabilia, which we loved. It is very clean and well maintained. The garden is very spacious and the children could play safely as it is fenced all around. As the property is at the end of a cul-de-sac, there is no passing traffic. The owners are a lovely and very helpful couple. We sent many query e-mails with regards to the purchase of Disneyland tickets etc before our stay and they were most helpful and replied straight away. Cecilia even went with us to purchase the tickets on our day of arrival, which was very kind of her. They said that we could contact them at any time during our stay if there were any problems, but we didn't need to as we had none. We all enjoyed our stay here so much, we really didn't want to leave. We will certainly be staying here again and we would definitely recommend the property to all. It is in a fabulous location, being close by to Disneyland and a large shopping centre down the road. We are looking forward to spending more holidays here.

Nice property, good location

Spacious house, well equipped, good location, ideal for Disney, good bus route. Pleasant helpful owners. It was obvious however, that the house was currently occupied by the owners, personal food in the freezer, and we had to empty drawers in bedroom furniture to store our belongings; many of the wardrobes were locked. Bedside drawers contained personal effects and medication. We were party of 9, but if rented for party of 10, one of the 5 bedrooms has a single bed with additional roll out which may not be suitable for an adult, ideal for two children. Garden, although a generous size, contained only two sun loungers (we read reviews and took four of our own), other garden furniture provided. We were concerned to find on our last evening, a hidden active video camera which the owners, when approached, said they were unaware of but after they made some phone enquiries said that it had been placed there by a member of their family. They were most apologetic, removed it immediately and said they would look into the matter and contact us. We would recommend this property only after these problems had been addressed.

Bailly Romainvilliers

We have just retuned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful home, located in a quiet street and yet perfectly located for Disneyland, only a few minutes away. Local shops are within walking distance and have everything you will need however there is a massive shopping complex five minutes away with every type of shop you could imagine! About a mile away is the A4 road straight into the centre of Paris, which we did a couple of times, takes about 30 minutes on a clear day, our children enjoyed seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night. The owners are a charming couple whom will make you feel very welcome and live nearby so are only a phone call away if you need help with anything. This was a perfect family holiday destination for us and was enjoyed by us all.

Great property!

This house is great. What you see on the photos is what you get. It's immaculately clean, well equipped and very close to Disneyland, local shops, Paris etc. We took our extended family away for a holiday to celebrate a big birthday. It was a perfect house for a mix of ages. The garden is pretty and well kept, but homely enough for the little ones to play with a ball without feeling anxious. They loved the hammocks. What could be improved? Not much, but we didn't really have enough comfy seating in the evenings for 8 people. Lots of chairs in the dining area but not enough for lounging. Same in the garden. Lots of garden furniture and two hammocks, but we could have done with a few more chairs to relax in outdoors. We found Cecilia to be very friendly, answered queries quickly and speaks good English. This isn't a house with an authentic French feel - it's too modern for that and is on a new estate, but everyone loved it. Our girls said it was like Hollywood! I have already recommended this house to a friend.

The location regarding distance to Disney and Paris is perfect. The villa is very close to a shopping centre and there is a nice plaza with some fast food restaurants, restaurants, bank and pharmacy ideal for any quick meal or for a quick errand. The property was impecable and the owner besides bieng at the location to receive us, also gave us their email, and contact details just in case any emergency or question. The villa is in a quiet location and has all the facilities to cook indoors if you wish and have a pleasent stay. We had a wonderful time and when we go back to Disneyland we will definitely enquire to stay at the villa again and we highly would recommend it to any friend or relatives.
