Charming flat in Le Marais! Such a great location and the flat is very spacious. My husband and I were traveling with my parents; we had plenty of space and were very comfortable. One small discrepancy with the description (as others have mentioned) each bedroom has a shower and sink, but there is only one toilet in a separate powder room. Certainly didn't spoil our good time, but worth noting.

Family stay in La Marais

Our family had a wonderful visit to Paris for the Christmas/New Year's week and this apartment was a wonderful home base. It is located very centrally to all major sight seeing spots and also has easy access to the Metro for getting around. There are many, many cute boutiques, bistros and restaurants to shop and eat at, only steps away. The apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated. For our family, having a bedroom at each end of the apartment was nice for some space after long days. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed for our stay. The managers were very easy to communicate with, friendly and efficient. We arrived early on Christmas morning and were nervous about wandering around with our luggage after a long flight. The management was able to give us an early check in so we didn't have to worry about it! We would absolutely stay here again!

First Paris trip

Nice apartment in a safe non-tourist area of Paris. Elevator is like a coffin which we learned is to be expected for these old buildings. Apartment has been renovated. Floors were refinished, butvery creaky which made it difficult to control the noise with a two-year-old running around. Small hot water system so the hot water runs out quicker. A half mile from the Notre Dame Cathedral. The benefit of this apartment would be that it’s in a non-tourist area around 15 to 20 minutes away from the iconic visiting areas. This was also a slight negative because of the distance needed to be traveled for the more touristy areas. That being said we visited during New Year’s, which was incredibly packed and tough to find taxi/Uber. This is a very nice place to stay if you’re looking for low-key experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at our Vrbo. This was our very first Vrbo stay and time in France so we were very nervous since we also had a 1.5 year old in tow. Host, Nicolas, was very prompt with responses of his team was which was reassuring when assessing if we wanted to book. They were also very polite and courteous. The building is old but that’s expected in Paris. The elevator was a literal coffin size and could only fit me (I’m 5’4” and petite), diaper bag, and a compact stroller folded up. There seemed to be renovation going on with the elevator and courtyard/foyer of building. Our apartment was super cute and comfortable. Bed was clean and comfortable. Ample towels, hand soaps, mini toiletries available. We ran out of trash bags and host quickly dropped off more. Kitchen had essentials utensils, cups, plates. I will say, the cutting knives could be replaced or sharper though. I struggled cutting an apple for my daughter. Other reviews complained about the apartment being really loud at night but we did not find that to be accurate. There was a washer/dryer in unit and we had difficulty figuring it out even with the instructions. Fortunately there was a large drying rack available. The location was awesome! So centrally located. 20-25 min walk to Lourve, 13min walk to notre dame, 15 min walk to saint chapelle, 10 min walk to Place des vosges and shopping stores right outside door. I’d stay here again.

Apartment is in a fantastic location - we were easily able to. walk / metro / Uber wherever we were going. The immediate surroundings nfs include great places for eating out or for getting ingredients to cook for ourselves on the week equipped kitchen. Some small issues though - if you have any physical limitations be aware that the elevator access includes a couple of stairs

Awesome location and accommodations

This place was perfect for our trip with my parents (ages 89 and 90) and my wife and I (in our 60s). Elevator is small but works perfectly for my folks. The apartment does have 2 bathrooms, but though the showers and sinks are great, neither "bathoom" has a toilet. The only toilet is a separate half-bath that everyone shares. This is unexpected (for an American expecting 2 bathrooms). Also, one bedroom there was no place to put our clothing except the floor - (the only furniture was a small chair. And in the back bathroom there was no place to put soap or shampoo while you showered - you had to put things on the floor of the shower. These are nitpicks, considering the location (which is really fantastic - for anything really). But a couple of luggage racks in each room and someplace to put soap would go a long way. The communication with the owner/management company (Habitat Parisien) was excellent - when I had a bit of trouble finding the key they responded immediately. Everything went as expected.

Great alternative to a hotel for a large family

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed. The property manager was communicative. Just an FYI—There is no air conditioning and it stays pretty noisy until late at night with the windows open on nights when it was warm. Overall, the location is great and we enjoyed our trip to Paris.
