We had a wonderful stay here!! The house is well cared for and in a beautiful location. We enjoyed getting to sit on the porch or back deck and enjoy the weather. We could hike nearby on the wma or go into the park. We honestly loved not having WiFi and there was a great selection of VHS tapes and a few board games. It was a wonderful trip to disconnect from the busyness of life and actually spend time together.

The property was exactly as described in the listing - very lovely, rustic and serene I wish I had taken a bit of time to get a better map of the location. GPS routed us two different ways between the house and Mount Magazine Lodge and shut down before reaching out destination making our return from dinner less than ideal. That was entirely on us however. Our host had been very upfront about the limitations of cell signals in that location.

Another great stay at Rich Mountain, it rained the entire weekend but we had a lot of fun riding our ATV , UTV and dirt bikes. We rode in rain gear so no dust but lots of mud. The fall colors arrived during our stay. Thanks for the hospitality Kelly and James.

Awesome 2025 Spring Break Mx and ATV trip!!!!

Always love staying at this location. Easy trail access. Great time riding and poor cell phone coverage in area helps friends and family enjoy each other rather than being distracted by technology. We always try to leave the yard and house in great shape when we leave.

Great Getaway

We love this location. Close to the trails for SXS riding. Just know there is no wifi or cell service at the immediate location. Which we knew before renting this location again.Great place and the owners are great to work with with. Would definitely stay again.

VERY REMOTE- BEWARE!

This property is VERY REMOTE, and 20 min from downtown Paris, Ark, What the listing fails to adequately explain is that it is so remote that you will have ZERO outside communication, There is no wifi, no cell service, and NO LANDLINE. . There is a 5 mile dirt road to get up to the property (no lighting at night). Once you get on the dirt road you no longer have cell service so you can't use GPS. Make sure you have printed directions (which the owner did not fore warn us about). We had informed the owners we would be coming in after 10pm. When we arrived the refrigerator & freezer were not working. We went to call the owners and realized there is also no landline and no notebook w/ instructions at all. Since you have no reception/wifi there is no way to contact the owner. We had to drive back down the 5 mile dirt road to contact them, for them to tell us the refrigerator and freezer needs to be plugged back in. They said it was an oversight on their part. Because it was late and 1 hr to a hotel we had to stay the night. However we did not feel safe having no way to contact emergency personnel (fire, ambulance, 911 etc) so we chose to leave early the next morning. We contacted the owner via txt and email trying to amicably agree on a partial refund amt as we felt their listing was misleading/lacking critical information. We gave them 6 days to respond, and they never even acknowledged our communication The master bathroom also has no door so it is open to the bedroom.

Nice house close to trails

The house overall very cute and clean. Well supplied kitchen. Beds are a little on the very firm side. Extremely close to great trails. Two very friendly dogs wild visit. Not a problem for us but no cell service inside the house we had all three major carriers. You could get service on the porch some. No local tv channels to watch the weather. Only an older tv with VCR and movies. No internet again not an issue for us.

Great ATV location

The property was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The owners were super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Great location for accessing the trails. Tons of parking available. In a beautiful setting and we all enjoyed watching the horses while having our morning coffee. I loved the flag pole! Would stay again!

Fun trip off grid

We loved the location and then kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. The back deck/porch was wonderful for morning Bible studies before hitting the trails. The main trail was very close so the location is great.
