A Gem in Paris

Was very wary after reading the negative comments but the hotel was fabulous, so close to the metro so was easy to get to everything and never had any issues, yes the area is a bit run down but never had any issues with the locals or anyone else. The staff were brilliant and helpful, I would definitely return.

Good service

The staff was really really friendly. Everyone had smiles and greeted us every time they seen us. Help with anything we needed. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom and shower was slightly small. The only negative I can say is the there was no usb plug in the room, which I had in the other novetel hotels I've been in

Extremely disappointed

I’m usually not the one to complain, but this here hotel takes the cake. The AC did not work and the room was like a sauna. The bathroom door had a big hole in it, so forget about privacy. The whole floor was smelling of some old food. And this was not a cheap hotel!! Outside the rats were so many you’d think they were shooting a sequel to Ratatouie. As a cherry on the top, they scammed us with a cab that were 80 euros for 20 min ride to the airport (the driver was texting the whole way). Our friends took the same trip for 45 euros.

Parking is not free for hotel guests. The exterior of the hotel is quite dirty and noisy. The rooms are rather basic considering the high price. ______ Le stationnement n'est pas gratuit pour les clients de l'hÎtel. L'extérieur de l'hÎtel est assez sale et bruyant. Les chambres sont plutÎt simples compte tenu du prix élevé.

The hotel itself is really great for the price. REALLY! The neibourghood is not very chic. And there is a "marché" the weekends, that makes the acces difficult by walking.But it is safe! And the bedrooms are really big for Paris!

Hotel staff are generally rude at reception. The fire alarm went and no body knew what went wrong and no apologies at all. The property had no air conditioning. Area around the property is quite shady and doesn’t feel safe at night. Do not feel is worth the money.
