This very charming apartment is located on rue de Portefoin (3rd district), in a XIX Century building, few steps away from the Square du Temple, the trendy shops of rue de Bretagne and the Market of the Red Children (Le Marché des Enfants Rouge), the oldest food market in Paris. You can also take a stroll to Picasso Museum, the Cirque d'hiver, the Place des Vosges, the Opera Bastille or to the Centre Georges Pompidou.

This 50 square meters very elegant apartment is at the 5th floor with lift. It can accomodate up to 4 persons. It has been completely refurbished by an architect. It consist of an entry, a separate kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The bedroom has a king size bed, a large cupboard and minor furnishings. The living room offers a dining area with a table for 4 persons, and a sitting area with a double sofa bed convertible 2 persons.

Great location in Le Marais. We enjoyed easy access to the cafes & boulangeries nearby and close transit connections. It’s a busy area of the city during the day but the suite was very quiet at night for sleeping. Loved the large windows and sunlight. The balcony was lovely. I felt communication with the owner could have been better. It might be useful to leave a booklet with instructions for using appliances, how waste disposal works & local highlights for guests. The sofa bed needs replacement for sure. It worked for our teen but an adult or couple would not enjoy it. Overall, a nice experience & would consider a repeat stay when in Paris. Great safe location!

This apartment is in a great location in north Marais. There are great restaurants and all kinds of shops nearby, and there are 2 main Metro stations in short walking distance. But, it is also on a quiet street so you will sleep well at night. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious for 2 people, and we found it very clean and well cared for, and everything was in good working order. We loved our stay on Rue Portefoin!

We've stayed in this apartment multiple times now, each time for an extended stay of over 5 weeks. We love the location! It's very close to everything that you could want or need. The balcony is a real highlight of the apartment, and we love to spend time out there in the mornings before we head out for the day, and again in the evenings after dinner.We find that the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped.We look forward to staying here again on our next Paris trip.

Great stay in Marais/Pompidou

We really liked the spacious and well-appointed apartment and the location. Good for restaurants and shopping nearby. We loved the two tall French doors leading out to balconies in both the living room and bedroom. We will definitely consider renting here again. 2 things we want the management to be aware of: We were unable to enter the apartment at the designated time because the cleaning was not completed, so we were asked to come back an hour and one half later. More importantly the apartment front door needs to be repaired so it has better security for locking when leaving (without slamming as requested in an elevator sign) and for locking when inside the apartment at night for our security. Other these 2 concerns we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Parisian apartment in fantastic location

We loved our stay here: so central in Paris, and yet on a peaceful street, but the advantage of being a couple of minutes walk from plenty of great shops, cafes & restaurants and metro. The apartment is on the 5th floor, there is a (very small) lift to help with access if you need. The apartment is really clean & beautifully furnished. We loved the views from the balcony and being able to sit out at the small table for two. Four of us stayed here and found it the perfect base for exploring the city.

Key problem

Scary start. Midnight and can’t get the key to open the door. Tried and tried. Almost went to another hotel even though luggage in the room and unavailable. Finally got key to work. Owner should fix this. Otherwise a very nice apartment and no complaints.

Ideally situated 1 bed room apartment on 5th floor with elevator that works well. Location is central in Paris 3 rd arr but off main streets so low noise level. Balcony was a real plus. Host was responsive and helpful.Will definitely return.

Our Parisian week at Enfants-Rouges was a dream come true. Nestled in the heart of the Marais, the apartment offered an unbeatable location. Beautiful apartment

This was a perfect place to stay during our 4 day trip to Paris. Great neighborhood, quiet, safe and secure. There was a very small elevator but worked great. Very clean apartment decorated very nice. Loved the sweet balcony with a table and two chairs. The view was beautiful. Recommend they get new pillows and provide more kitchen towels. But definitely a 5 star in our book.

Comfortable stay on the edge of the Marais

A pleasant 3 days at this property in January . Convenient to Marais and Republique. On a quiet side street, 5 th floor (of 6) with a very small but functional elevator. Kitchen and bath supplied with all the basics. In warmer weather the small balcony would be a plus.
