This is a hostel right in the centre of Paris in a beautiful old building. I enjoyed sharing breakfast in the underground cellar with a group of school kids. The area and setting are fantastic, but for some reason there was a green brightly lit exit sign above the door in my room, that stayed on all night and that really disturbed my sleep. I've never seen this in any other hotel and I can't fathom why this sign was in the bedroom.

Breakfast was ok, more like a snack than real breakfast. The place can get noisy sometimes from other guests. The door was broken, the card didn’t open it in the first attempt, I had to do it multiple times which was very annoying specially at night if you have to go to the bathroom. It’s a great location and the staff was great. They were very helpful. My room had a shower- which isn’t the case for every room, but the shower tile grout looked a little molded. Pretty clean other than that. Oh & they don’t provide towels- so keep that in mind if you stay there. They provide breakfast I guess, but when I went down at 7:30 there was only toast so… there is no AC, but with the windows open there is a nice breeze. Don’t plan to sleep in unless you’re a heavy sleeper- the trash man comes early each day and makes a lot of noise!

Very affordable and family-friendly location

We stayed two nights at the MIJE Fourcy and really liked our visit. The room was very spacious, it was clean and the central location a big plus. We especially liked the building snd its surrondings plus the friendly staff. Not to mention the family-friendly price that was a lot of value for the money we paid. I can therefore warmly recommend the MIJE Fourcy hostel!
