This is a good hotel close to some of the main places to see and the staff is very welcoming. This is an old hotel and the rooms can be small; however, this is to be expected in old buildings in many hotels in the big city of Paris. If you are looking for a quiet place, convenient location, and don't plan to spend much time in the hotel, then this place is a good option.

Room was quaint, but small & outdated. Front desk staff was excellent! Water pressure & temperature issues made for unreliable showers. Shower curtain & tiles appeared to have mildew present. Bed was comfortable. Elevator was small and did not service all floors.

Air unit in room didn’t work. I complained but front desk staff was very indifferent-they told us to open windows which allowed mosquitoes in that gave us bites. Room is minimally comfortable. Toilet seat was a flimsy plastic snap on type. Bathroom very small and difficult to use for a tall person. Worst part of stay was staff. Location was fantastic and quiet.

Modest Room With Careless Housekeeping

Everyone was really friendly & the location is very convenient. My problem was when I came back to my room on the second day my room was left open. Not just unlocked but the door was fully left open with a towel. I had everything of value with me but also as a female traveling alone this made me feel a bit unsafe. I let the person at the desk know but he seemed to be fairly unconcerned. I understand there was nothing he could do but a bit of empathy from him & maybe offering to check out the room or something would have went a long way.

Much of the property is outdated and wonky. Bags in the hall everyday, making a hazardous transfer to the stairs. No welcoming cafe' or water in a less than welcoming entrance area. Amenities were minimal. The air conditioning unit had no directions was interesting to control. Positives: great location with wonderful restaurants, shopping and accessibility to many good areas to visit. The hosts were accommodating and polite. The towels and sheets were very clean and the room was picked up daily.
