The hotel is currently under renovation, but during our 4-day stay we didn’t actually see any work being done. The hallways and stairs were covered with protective plastic, cables were hanging from the ceilings, and the whole place felt unfinished and neglected rather than actively being renovated.
The rooms are very small but relatively clean. However, there were several maintenance issues, the toilet was heavily covered in limescale, and some electrical outlets were literally coming out of the wall.
The biggest disappointment was the rooftop terrace. Instead of being a pleasant rooftop area, it looked more like a storage space for construction debris, materials, and vacuum cleaners, dirty, messy, and completely neglected. It’s such a shame because with a little care and attention it could be a beautiful spot for a morning coffee.
Breakfast was okay, nothing special.
The location is relatively close to the main tourist attractions, and honestly, with a bit more effort from the management, this could become a hotel worth recommending.
