The room was horrible terrible smell carpet is filthy room was so tiny and mold by the window a long chunk I went downstairs and I asked the guy there's anyway you can change he told me he doesn't have the software computer to change things around and he went upstairs without my permission he put a spray in the room I was standing by the door he was talking to the housekeeping in their own language when he came back I thought he was going to help me and he said I put some nice spray I'll smell better now I go upstairs that's the bad smell I have allergy and I told him we made things worse all night long my head hurts my throat itch and by the time I went outside how did dinner I came back he already left and came back open the window nothing help the young man that was for the night shift at least he listened he didn't know what to do about it but the guy that he checked me in he has no care whatsoever he doesn't give a damn first of all before you spray you could check with the person if they are right there in front of you you don't know what condition what health issue they have I did not appreciate that for the money you pay with mold windows broken stuff no phone for emergency never wrote a review this is first and last horrible I've been traveling for 20 days different countries and disappointed on this hotel I will never come back and I will never give this hotel name to anybody to book them self specially if you have allergies that's the worst place to be and I do hav

I loved how the boutique hotel, where we were treated like guest and not just people to be herded in and out. There was a lovely room to just have coffee and breathe in the Parisian charm and the breakfast area felt like a jazz spot. I’d stay again if we are blessed to return to Le Marais.

The hotel is conveniently located, but the showerhead in my shower did not work and the shower was difficult to get into as it had a very high wall that did not open. I reported the showerhead, but it was not fixed during my entire stay.

We stayed for 6 nights. First impression was not good. Carpet in hall dirty, chipped paint everywhere. Room had a dark color seeping through the paint in the corners (mold?). However, the bed was comfortable and clean, cotton sheets. Bathroom was reno'd shower was excellent, hot water was good. The room is super small, no fridge, micro etc. There is a Coffee maker. The rooms did not smell musty at all. We also had a tiny balcony that we used a lot. Wardrobe was brand new. We did not eat in the restaurant.

The Expedia website shows beautiful pictures online and all good reviews. Our room had black mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The light fixtures were coming off the wall. The carpet looked like it hosted a homicide scene. The comforter had rips in it. I spoke to Mohomid, who said he couldn't move me to another room because they were booked and suggested I speak with the manager. Well, the manager was NEVER available. I looked at other websites, and this hotel had horrible reviews. Expedia, you only post good reviews, which is misleading

We were greeted with stale, stuffy air as the AC was not working & carpets that appeared to be reclaimed form a 90’s nite club, complete with the sweat and spilled booze! Upon entering the washroom we were greeted with hair covered tile (all black hair, as my wife and I are blonde, so no it wasn’t ours). Don’t stay here if you’re over 5’ tall or over 120lbs, as the washroom will not accommodate you. Turning around in the shower causes you to turn off the water flow. Shower shoes are a must. We wore shower sandals the whole time in our room, and I don’t even use them in hockey dressing room showers. The surrounding area was fantastic tho, it is in a great area of Paris. Just grossly over priced in my opinion for what you get. You can’t charge just for the neighborhood you’re in, you need to provide decent accommodations for that price.

Very nice and friendly staff. Good area. Cute elevator fit two people but that’s part what we wanted to experience-old fashioned plus affordable in center location. We were there at the hottest weather, 36C. there is no air conditioning, they do provide a fan. Good we can tolerate the heat.
