Hotel is in a great location and staff were very helpful. The room and bathroom/shower were extremely small (though this is typical in Europe). There was no elevator so hauling a large bag up a narrow spiral staircase isn't the easiest. No A/C. The surrounding area is very loud (people, cars, commotion) with a lot of construction when I visited. The property is old and in need of updating. All that being said, for the price, you are getting what you paid for to be so close to major sights in Paris compared to higher end hotels in similar locations.

Great hotel but it so needs a re-vamp.

A great hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is in a brilliant location but sadly the hotel does need a complete re-vamp. It is very outdated although the rooms were clean and the bedding and towels were spotless.

Room was very small which was expected. The shower leaked into the bedroom and the room had a smell. Desk attendants and service was excellent. Would recommend that they fix the shower situation as it made the whole bathroom and part of the bed area wet.

Hreat value for money. It is an old building with low ceilings and slanted floors, but it is clean. Staff are great! Know that its a walk up, so lots of stairs. Perfect location. Thanks for a great visit!

This is a small, older property which is inexpensive compared to other properties in the area. As long as you don't have too high expectations, this can be a pleasant and economical place to stay near Notre Dame, the Louvre and other tourist sites.

The location (for the price tag) and the friendliness of the staff are the stars of this hotel. Everything else needs some massive upgrades. I was only there for one night, so it was fine, and i was happy with the stay all together. Remember no AC, and no elevator.

Handy and good value

Handy hotel for Louvre and Pompidou centre. Not luxurious but had what I needed - comfy bed and hot water in shower. If you like fancy hotels I wouldn't book here. If you need an economic place to stay, yes.
