Welcoming staff , and helpful staff throughout my short stay. The hotel is an old building, with amenities adapted to its seventeenth century origins. My room was clean and cosy - plenty of warmth on a freezing night. The breakfast included in the price was a delicious Parisian petit déjeuner. This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel du Lys and will make this my-when-in-Paris home. If you love old historical buildings with plenty of character-this is the place for you! It's a charming early 17th century building, located right between the Saint Germain and Latin Quarter districts. Close to Notre Dame cathedral and all of central Paris. They serve a fantastic,yet simple breakfast. Most of the clientele are Europeans, because this is a hidden gem.
