Hotel was excellent, brilliant location, very friendly, helpful staff, rooms are tiny and we had a 'superior' room, no shower just a tub, we did not use it for safety reasons we are 73 an 80. Toilet was miniscule had to exit to pull up your pants, and was just a glass door into the bedroom, no ventilation, so embarrassing

It used to be an old medieval house of ill repute. My, how times have changed! And the hillock between the Maub' and the 'Scarpe was roamed by none other than Master Francoys Villon...after the learned Master Albert and Guillaume Budé...peaceful, well most of the time, runs the Seine...Mais où sont passées las Dames d'Antan?

The location was perfect , walkable to many sites… the room was was tiny, which was doable , however there was no shower, only a bath tub with no curtain and a hand held shower hose.. I mentioned to front desk I need a shower, but was dismissed by one worker( most of other staff was lovely tho).. I had great difficulty with my knees squatting in tub to shower, and not get water everywhere…that was my only complaint, plus no view whatsoever..

The location is perfect; the room was decorated in a colorful, fun way; the staff were helpful; the lobby was welcoming. Room was compact with no division between sleeping and bathing areas (fine for me as I was alone). Could use more soundproofing between rooms and floors.

Great little hotel in a very old building. Left bank, easy walk to Notre Dame, plus lots of good places to see nearby (Jardin des Plante, market, Monde Arabe). My room up in the eaves was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and a good shower. They serve a continental breakfast so go to a nearby cafe if you want something more substantial. Highly recommended.

No sound proofing (could hear people next door taking and watching TV). Windows are old and do not block out noise from the street. Shower drain was mostly blocked. So, had to run shower at very low flow for short periods of time and shut off to let water drain. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Very nice location, about 3 minute walk to Notre Dam Cathedral. Metro stations close by.

Great location in the Latin quarter. Comfortable room with air conditioning. Convenient continental breakfast for a reasonable fee. Best croissant’s we have ever had. Only negative was the elevator was not working. The staff changed our room to a lower floor.

The location of this property is great. Award-winning bakery and metro entrance nearby as well as many restaurants and cafes to eat from. The staff are also extremely friendly. What really disappointed me was the state of my room and its accessibility. My room lacked any hooks for the towels and I had to hold the shower head to shower. Also my room was accessible after a set of steps that were really hard to see if I were to come out of my room to the elevator since the motion detection didn’t set in until I was up the stairs. This was particularly difficult with a suitcase.

Everything about the place was perfect. In my opinion let’s face it. It’s all about location plus there was air-conditioning! Which is a very big thing in Paris to have… The only thing that room needed was a little refrigerator because I’m a fat pig and I like to fill it with ham.
