This was a beautiful property, close to the metro as well as walking distance to many sites. The room we were in had a view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a nice surprise! Staff was very friendly and the room service was always top notch!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the exceptional service we received from Vincent. From the moment we arrived, Vincent greeted us warmly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about our luggage, he made sure it was properly stored while we were on a tour outside Paris and delivered to our room. This is my second time staying at Hôtel Alfred Sommier, and it remains one of the most charming hotels I’ve experienced in Paris. It has the atmosphere of a private château tucked into the city - elegant, intimate, and full of character - while still feeling distinctly Parisian rather than overly formal or staged. The location is excellent: quiet yet central, within walking distance of many of Paris’ most beautiful areas. The rooms are refined and comfortable, and the overall design preserves the historical soul of the building without sacrificing modern comfort. What stands out most is the feeling of calm and understated luxury. After busy days in Paris, returning to the hotel genuinely feels relaxing. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to travelers looking for something more personal and atmospheric than a standard luxury hotel.
