Nice, clean hotel that did exactly what I needed - gave me a shower, a comfy bed, and a place to grab a drink or two after a long day of touristing.
I got in super late at night during the May heatwave after a long day of travel and was so thankful for an air-conditioned property and staff that spoke English (my French stopped working after it hit +27 and 60% humidity).
The room was quite small, but since it was my first time in Paris, I don't know how unusual that is. It was clean and cozy, and had A/C - although it struggled to keep up, it took the edge off the heat and I can't imagine not having it at all.
The lobby and bar area are clean, refreshed, and very nice, but you definitely feel the age of the building once you get on the room floors.
I'm a big walker when travelling, so I found the location to be convenient enough. Overall, decent stay at a very reasonable price.
