Delightful apartment in the 18th!
Excellent location and lovely apartment! The 18th is a wonderful neighborhood, full of bakeries, cafes, shops, banks (ATMs), close to several Metro stations and good bus lines.
The apartment is small and works well for 1 person. It might be uncomfortable if you're tall (I'm 5'2" or 157.48 cm). The bed is in a loft with a sloping ceiling and I hit my head on the beam several times when sitting up or going around the bed). The toilet is on the entry level and the shower is up in the loft with the bed. The stairs are steep. If you have trouble with stairs this is not a good choice for you.
The apartment was very clean and had the basic supplies for eating and cooking, a TV, clothes drying rack (there's a washing machine under the stairs when you enter the building with this apartment - this is a great touch - thank you!).
Check-in is easy. They send you codes and all worked. They even offer to have a driver pick you up at the airport and take you to the airport when you leave. The cost was about the same as a taxi. The drivers were on time and friendly.
The courtyard is lovely with two tables and chairs. A lovely place to sit and relax and enjoy a glass of wine or water or a cup of coffee or tea.
This apartment is one of 6 in the building. Some of the other renters were a bit noisy very late at night. It was hot so I had the windows open. It might be a good idea to let renters know they should be quiet after midnight.
Overall a lovely place to stay for a week in Paris.
