8/10 Good

The studio appears a bit larger in the photos, but it was perfectly adequate for a short stay while living out of a small suitcase. It’s bright, with lovely direct sunlight from the courtyard-facing window—so much so that we never needed to use the heater. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped for preparing simple meals. One small thing to note: there are a few electronic indicator lights on the wall facing the bed that blink at night, so light-sensitive sleepers may want to bring a sleep mask. The location is excellent—easy walking distance to shops, cafés, and other amenities, and very well connected by public transportation. Despite being on a busy street, the double windows keep the apartment pleasantly quiet.Olivier was accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in a bit early, which we appreciated. As for the downsides: having stayed in several budget rentals in Paris, I’m familiar with local standards—but even so, this building feels poorly maintained. There are clear signs of neglect, including ripped hanging wallpaper, cracks, exposed waste pipes and wiring, unrepaired masonry, as examples. While this didn’t affect our stay inside the apartment, it may concern some guests. On a positive note, the courtyard is well cared - the plants are beautiful and add a nice touch to the overall atmosphere
