The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower worked well, the water heated up quickly. The building looked old, as if it is nearing its end of life. The elevator flooring was in need of repair. (I am a lifelong construction worker, so I tend to be overcritical.) The motel was in Paris, and we needed a room in Paris, so it fit the requirement. I wouldn't intentionally stay there the next time I'm in Paris.

The hotel was similar to others. We checked in and went to the room. When we opened the door, the room was dirty and sheets off the bed. We had to go back down to the lobby for a second room. The second room was nice and very clean.

I was initially concerned about the smell of the room and stains on the carpet when we arrived but the manager Carman came up to the room and assured us that they document everything after each visit and she would make note of it. Also room was near elevator but room was as quiet as could be. Carmen brought me a fork so I could eat my dinner which was very kind and good customer service. The pool wasn’t working but manager said we could use pool at other properties next door. She explained Expedia didn’t update the pool closure. The gym treadmill wasn’t working but I find that common in hotels. Breakfast was very good.
