Could not have been better. The apartment was so nice. Comfortable beds, location could not be beat. Loved hearing the bells of Notre Dame. Catherine was so helpful ahead of time and during our stay. Loved getting to meet the owners. We appreciated being let in way ahead of schedule. Would definitely recommend to others and come back for another stay.

Great location! Just steps away from the Seine, Boul. St-Germain (but no traffic noise) and excellent food stores (bakery, cheese, deli, wines and more). Well appointed kitchen with high quality kitchenware. There was a very brief clatter early in the morning as garbage pails were moved out to the street, but not troublesome. The only minor quibble was wifi connectivity, which was somewhat intermittent at any distance from the router. A generous supply of bathroom towels.Catherine was very gracious and was full of useful information about the city.It was a pleasure to stay here.

The apartment is a bit of a jumble of rooms assembled from what at one time must have had a different configuration. Both bathrooms have substantally higher quality fittings than typical. The kitchen is of adequate size and outfitted with ample dishware and high quality appliances. The beds were comfortable and the living room was of generous size and comfort. Catherine, the property manager, was terrific; extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, with excellent recommendations concerning shopping and eating locations in the neighborhood.

Great flat and great location

The flat is in a very nice location with lots of shops and restaurants but was still quiet at night. Catherine met us on arrival. She was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Wonderful apartment

This small apartment on the left bank is everything you could want. Pretty, airy, quiet and comfortable. Two full baths were a plus. The location could not be better: a few yards from the Seine on one side and a charming square with every kind of shop on the other. There are plenty of cafes around but also one of the best Parisian restaurants in the same building around the corner. Great and friendly management tops it off.

A truly charming place for our one-week stay. Just blocks from Notre Dame in the famous Saint-Germain neighborhood. Quiet and comfortable. The apartment was well appointed and had useful supplies. The location made it easy to travel in and out of the city center; we could go see sights during the day, return to the apartment to rest and easily access restaurants for dinner nearby. Character, quaint, convenient and quiet

We loved our six-day stay at Maitre Albert with all its quirky character and historic ambience. One block from the Seine and easy access to everywhere; clean and comfortable; all the amenities necessary and lots of hot water. Best of all is the apartment manager Catherine, who welcomes you with everything to make your visit in Paris superb. She is responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this historic haven!

The apartment location, location, location. Fabulous position, easy access to the area. The stairs, despite being very old and polished, are very narrow and difficult to manoeuvre. The Wifi was variable, you had to watch the TV in the main bedroom, and walk around the apartment for phone access. This wifi would not be reliable if you were required to work while staying.

Very quaint and enjoyable apartment

The apartment was in the best area with easy walk to all the Paris attractions. Rather intreaguing mass of art, books and artefacts. The owner must live an interesting life. Communication with Catherine was excellent. Could not have wished for a better stay in Paris.
