Our lovely apartment is part of the small-scale vacation complex Marasusa, beautifully situated in the hills above Parghelia, in the sunny region of Calabria. Every morning, you’ll wake up to a stunning view of the sea, the picturesque town of Tropea, and—on clear days—even Stromboli and the Aeolian Islands.

About the apartment
The apartment is located on the first floor and accommodates up to 5 guests. It features two comfortable bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living area, a neat bathroom, and a spacious terrace with panoramic views. A perfect spot for couples, families, or friends seeking relaxation, nature, and culture in Southern Italy.

Living & cooking
The bright living room flows seamlessly into the open kitchen and the terrace. Inside, you’ll find a cozy sitting area, a dining table, a TV with a DVD player (note: no live TV channels), board games, and a selection of Dutch books for both adults and children.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a large fridge-freezer, a 4-burner gas stove, and all the necessary utensils to prepare your own meals.

A powerful air conditioning unit keeps the entire apartment comfortably cool.

Sleeping arrangements
– Bedroom 1 is spacious and bright, featuring a double bed (160x200) and ample storage. The window faces the terrace and offers a lovely view of the garden.
– Bedroom 2 has two bunk beds, with a lower double bed (140x200) and an upper single bed (90x200)—ideal for children or friends. This room also has plenty of storage and natural light.

Bathroom
The bathroom is simple but clean, with a shower, toilet, and sink. A window facing the mountains provides fresh air and natural ventilation.

Terrace & Pool
The private terrace overlooks the garden, Tropea, and the sea—a perfect spot for breakfast, a good book, or enjoying a breathtaking sunset. It’s furnished with a table, chairs, and a parasol.

The shared swimming pool is just a few steps away from the apartment—ideal for a refreshing dip after a warm day at the beach.

Good to know
– Bed linens and bath towels (1 large and 1 small per person) are included in the €130 cleaning fee.
– Please bring your own beach towels.
– Free parking is available at the complex.
– The apartment is easily accessible (no stairs).

Getting There
Lamezia Terme Airport is about an hour’s drive away. Since the complex is located on a hillside, we highly recommend renting a car.
Parghelia also has a train station with convenient coastal connections—perfect for exploring the region without a car.
