It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming. We didn’t see anything dirty or needing attention, everything was pristine. A few more dishes in the cabinets would be good (2 mugs, plates, bowls) but it was workable. If you’re going to be cooking/eating there make sure you have some paper towels or napkins as they do not provide, which is fine. We absolutely loved the breakfast. They had hot food like eggs, sausage, and potatoes as well as waffles, muffins, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal etc. Also coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, and a water bottle refill station (next to the store). I also liked the breakfast times (7-10) and that they didn’t start cleaning up way before closing time like some hotels do. We got there a few minutes before it closed and they made sure we were finished getting our food before starting to clean up. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

So when we booked, we saw that there was an indoor pool. What it does NOT tell you is that the pool is in the main hotel. Not a good idea when it's 30 degrees into to have to walk across a parking lot just to get to the pool and other hotel listed amenities. The site should mention that. Our room had a very small amount of toilet paper and when we called, the front desk was very nice and brought us what we needed. It's a cute hotel but I must say, it wasn't till the morning we realized that the trash can under the sink was never emptied from the last stay and the soap was still in the dish in the shower. So the toilet paper, trash and soap leads me to believe the room really wasn't cleaned from the last guest. Can only hope the sheets were at least changed. Best Western brand, I expected better.

This is my go-to when staying in Lancaster. Staff and accommodations are both amazing. Room is spotless, eds are comfy and breakfast is excellent. Could not ask for friendlier of more helpful staff.

Awful experience ever. I already stay at the best western paradise Lancaster but yesterday was my first time at the SureStay studio and I already regret any minute that I spent there. Room was dirty, old and smelling bad. But the worst this was the clog bathtub. The water was not draining and I had to take a shower with those stagnant and dirty water there. It was disgusting. I went to the front desk and asked them to move me into the main property and they said: you have to pay again for another room.

Room was very clean upon arrival. Housekeeping was hit and miss. Beds not made up for entire stay. Trash was emptied. Fresh towels were left. Coffee was replenished. This did occur daily. However, if you follow a checklist, and the guests are not using Decaf coffee, leave some extra Regular coffee. Also, the toilet was plugged at one point, and when I called Front Desk to report it, I was told I could come to the desk for a plunger! Me, you expect me to play Plumber? That being said, breakfast was absolutely outstanding, and was the reason for not giving a lower score.

Room was in fair condition. Something had been sprayed around the room (floor, tables, etc.) maybe a cleaner and not wiped up. You have to walk to the main hotel for the pool and breakfast. Pool was indoor, but cold. Breakfast was decent.

Choose the Surestay Studio by Best Western for an overnight stay in Paradise, PA. We have stayed in Best Westerns before and have always had a great experience. The Surestay Studio is a low budget studio. Room was clean, beds comfortable, full kitchen and large outside sink/vanity. But bathroom was very small and found it odd that the toilet didn’t have a lid on it. Although our suite was clean and it was definitely a no frills room it felt old and uninviting. We checked in late and checked out early since we just needed a place to rest before a long drive home. It served its purpose but felt it needed something, more warm and comforting. We went to the main building for breakfast and coffee was hot, food was good and a nice variety. Overall a descent stay but would probably stay with the Best Western regular rooms in the future.

The Surestay Studio was very dated, the outside of the building especially showed its age with many rust spots on the building and not very clean. 2 of us were there for 3 nights. According to the description, there would be housekeeping daily - our 2nd day, when we returned, we found a chair in front of the door when we came into the room and the bed covers were just thrown over the top of the beds and when we pulled the covers back, we found they never made the beds at all as the blankets and under sheets where just bunched up and never made and the pillows were never fixed on the bed. The room was very dusty so much so that if you check the top of the fridge, someone had left a note in the dust saying clean me. There were some type of gnats in the room near the sink near the bathroom. We had to walk over to the Best Western Plus for the indoor pool and gym which we didn't end up using. I double checked my confirmation and no where does it say that these things were a walk away. The building we had to walk to seemed to be in much better condition (Best Western Plus) and the breakfast was excellent! The staff working the breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The rooms have the potential to be really nice as they have a really nice kitchenette, microwave, stove, good size fridge, a small table and chairs, TV - but it just felt like they are VERY neglected. It was very disappointing and we will never return.

Pool area light did not allow the room to be dark. The rain leaked down the door dripping on the floor causing a puddle inside. The TV had no signal and the lady at the desk was apathetic. The TV seemed to have wires exposed on the bottom. The bathroom sink was cracked.

I wasn’t expecting much since it wasn’t small hotel but my husband and I were blown away. The staff was lovely. The entire property was spotless. The breakfast was very good and even the dining area was gorgeous. We will definitely be back for our next trip.
