Nice stay, but not amazing. Negatives - There was an awful smell outside our room and in the stairwell of smelly food, It was constant for our whole stay. They should put cleaning wipes in the gym for people to wipe down machines in between use. Hotel rooms in need of refresh, sofa stained and room looks old. Positives - beach area, alway able to get a sun bed, lunchtime pool menu was good. Friendly staff. Top tip - breakfast is much nicer at the beach restaurant, the one in the hotel the tables are so close together in a tight space, you feel like you are eating with others, and service of clearing tables much better/quicker.

The room was exceptional clean neat a spacious. The staff was always smiling the minute we stepped on property. The buffet breakfast was overwhelming. The pools so clean and inviting.. The restaurant Christians was A+ staff was welcoming and a attentive too all its customers and chief made excellent food.

The resort is well placed on Alona beach. The staff there are AMAZING! They'd go up and beyond what other hotel staff would do. The resort itself is laid out well with 3 pool areas. The beach side pool is such a fabulous spot for chilling and taking in the sun while being 10 meters away from the sea. We'd easily say this is the best beachside resort we have ever been to. Totally reccomend this hotel

We returned to the Henann Resort Alona Beach after first visiting in 2016. We were in a room back then and a villa this time around. What a beautiful set up! The bed was fantastic and my wife and I regularly slept 9-10 hours, just what we needed for a holiday break. The fridge was constantly stocked with Coke Zero per our preference, and the bathroom/shower was top tier. A private pool was a perfect spot to cool off and get sand off our feet before entering the bedroom. The property had a great breakfast buffet and we had many meals at Christina's, the on-site restaurant. We spent most of our time on the resort, with one stop at the Bohol Bee Farm, but really, you can just stay at the resort and have a wonderful vacation.

I was rushed off my room at check out when they said I could extend til 1 pm. Original time of checkout is 11 am. The front desk agreed that I can check out at1 pm but then they start calling my room at 12.30 asking if I’m checking out. I was rushed out of my room. I asked if I can still avail the pool while waiting for my late flight and they said initially I can’t once I’m check Out unless I pay 700 pesos to stay in the pool and Wear a tag so the staff knows you’re not a hotel guest anymore. Also I was surprised that a Vienna sausage was serve as one of their breakfast dish. I stayed in villa 10 For 2 nights definitely not coming back to this island nor to this hotel. People beware if you decide to book this hotel or going to Panglao. Very expensive place unlike other resort island. Better choose Palawan or Siargao.
