The room was spacious although in need of a little TLC. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea, however, unfortunately there was building works right in front of the hotel. This started at 7am and unfortunately the noise lasted all day (this went on throughout our week stay). One of the workers also kept waving at me and shouting to me when on the balcony, which was a little disconcerting. I did discuss the issue with reception and the duty manager did say she would discuss the issues (time of day builders started work and the worker shouting and waving) with the owner. There was no detail on the website regarding works either which I also discussed with the manager, as this really should be highlighted so people can make a choice not to stay for this reason. The hotel is on the beach front (small pathway between hotel and beach) but there is only a couple of sunbeds on the hotel property. The pool is lovely and clean however lots of broken tiles. Approx 10 beds by pool. You are within walking distance of lots of bars/restaurants but not close enough to be impacted by any noise. Breakfast was not great for us (UK citizens) but looked like it catered well for Asian cultures. You could get an omelette/toast but unfortunately there was no breakfast tea/yoghurt/granola which is probably all that would be needed to cater for European clients. Staff were fabulous, attentive and professional. The true assets to this property.

My wife and I had a great stay. The staff really makes a difference. The front dest staff and supervisor were awesome! The place was at a perfect location..near everything. Best Western is a true value and a gem at a time when everything seems to be overpriced. Thank you!

Location and friendly front desk and restaurant servers was the best part of this hotel. the pool, beach front are amazing specially when you have kids. what they need to improve is the manager/supervisor that handles the restaurant. he would think that he was trying to provide friendly service but he keeps suggesting things to order that we have already refused which makes it annoying & make us think that he's just after the money. also, not part of the hotel but, beware of persistent & annoying locals offering pearls. they keep asking you eventhough you have said no many times while you are just trying to have some relaxing time by the beach.

Short vacation to Panglao

Check in and out was fast. Rooms was nice, clean. Bed and was nice. Bathroom was of a good size. Nice furnitures in the room. Staff in the front desk, restaurant and at the beach were amazingly helpful and very attentive to our need. The burger we orderred was surprisingly very good. Breakfast was ok. Overall the food we orderred was very good.

Highly recommended! Friendly and courteous staff, great location. But the street that goes to hotel entrance was flooded and muddy and just terrible, not the hotels fault but hope their local government do something about the roads! Overall great hotel experience!!!
