If you are looking for a safe haven on a solo trip to Panama City look no further Riu Plaza is clean . The pool area is clean with towels supplied . Please double check the menu prices before ordering as I was charged more than the printed price. Close to Cinta Costera . 12 mins walk 12 min walk to Rey supermarket but I found the smaller Chiness run mini markets more friendly Breakfast is hit or miss for a vegetarian. Sign stated sweet potatoes but it was some sort of pork dish . Room really comfortable. The best part of my stay . Water is left in fridge. Free use of the safe . Shampoo and conditioner in bathroom Reception staff very friendly and a special mention to Rolando ( bellboy) Other than that the staff are not particularly friendly and they hardly smile I’m giving the hotel 5 stars for being in a great location and safe but I’d give 2 stars for friendliness
