After a week here over spring break, overall we had a great time. The beds were comfortable, it was spacious, all the rooms have their own bathroom. However, this place is bare bones. There isn’t even a broom, to sweep the kitchen after dinner, or coming in with sandy sandals. The AC quit working, but they were quick to send someone to fix it. There isn’t even hand soap or spray to wipe down the counters after cooking. An entire week and nothing to clean a bathroom or sweep the floors was frustrating. Also, I’ve stayed at many rental properties on the beach, I’ve never had one not keep a closet of beach towels (and apparently it’s in the portal, not something you see before you book) so I had to run and buy beach towels once we arrived. The building itself is old, the elevators take FOREVER. But the beach is gorgeous. The pools are nice and clean. And the property is safe, you have bracelets you wear everywhere to get in and out of the building. For what you spend on this, the owners don’t provide beach chairs (once we told the chair guys who we rented from, he said they never provide chairs like the other owners). No welcome kit, no binders with nearby restaurants that I’m used to, no beach towels and no cleaning supplies. But the view is gorgeous!
