Escape to a gorgeous 4-bedroom, 3-full bath home in Alligator/Bald Point that sits directly on the beach. Built in 2021, this awesome property features 2 masters and 2 guest rooms. 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 3 bunk beds makes it perfect for families or groups of friends. You feel at home while you're exploring Alligator/Bald Point.

At the Turtles Nest you will wake up to incredible sunrises. The evening sun sets behind the home and is perfect for shade in the afternoon. Fishing is abundant here and you will not be disappointed with the variety and size of fish that can be caught directly from the shore. Bring your own fishing gear or boat to launch and you'll have dinner in the bag.

If you're looking for a quiet, private area, this is the place. If you're looking for an area with entertainment and nightlife, this is not going to be your vacation destination. Turtles Nest is best for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Kayaking, paddleboarding, exploring, bicycling and just nice long walks on the beach are the things most enjoyed by people that visit.

There is a cozy private outdoor firepit on the beach with solar lighting at your disposal for smore's and drinks after dinner.

One of the better features of this rental includes an outdoor lift. Bypass the stairs and get your luggage and groceries into the home with ease. Please note, the lift is for items and materials ONLY. It is not an elevator for people. This is an option upon rental with an additional $350 refundable deposit and a separate signed lift agreement.

If you're here for turtle hatching season (generally June through October) you might get to see once in a lifetime baby turtles hatch.

This property is as described. It is spacious and comfortable with beautiful views and is only a few steps to the beach. The host was timely and reasonably responsive when needed. It was helpful to have the high clearance under the house, which allowed for rods to be placed in our fishing cart and wheeled without interference. Having the extra fridge and freezer, outdoor shower, beach equipment, and luggage lift were very helpful. There was plenty of room to store our fishing and beach gear in the storage room. Baldpoint State Park beach side access is a block or two from the house which was convenient. Checkout process was very simple.Minor helpful hints: - hold onto the doors tightly when the wind is blowing. - the grill is a small charcoal grill- bring plenty of bug spray and sunscreen - suggest wearing shoes on the beach and in the water as there are rocks, bricks, oyster shells, and other debris scattered about. - there was no basketball and the hoop was blocked by construction debris. - the bagged ice was helpful, but having access to the actual ice machine would have been ideal. - there are a lot of stairs due to elevation that may make it difficult for someone with mobility issues- the kitchen trash can is very large and requires an upsize bagRecommend the property and hope to return.

Our host was amazing and very welcoming. She went beyond, to make sure our stay and vacation was as relaxing and trouble free as possible. Almost as if they were excited for us to stay in their beautiful home on the beach. I cannot say that about all the host we’ve rented with throughout the years. I wish every owner was as welcoming as ours this year. The checkout process was simple. We received a welcoming text on our travel day with details and friendly conversation. I hope they are as happy having us as their guest as we were of having them as host. Because, we will certainly be returning. Thanks again for letting us use your beautiful home “inside, and out” on the beach!

The house is absolutely fantastic! Listening to the surf from anywhere in the house makes the whole place perfect.The kitchen is fully stocked with what you might need, and there is even amazing seating downstairs to have any meal you want to make (because why would you want to be anywhere but at the house & on the beach while you’re there?!)Saving your house in our “faves” list! This is an A property right on the beach with tons of extras like a firepit and nikes you can ride to nearby hiking trails and stunning views of the Gulf from Alligator Point. We came for the Christmas holiday and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Tallahassee is close by if you need a break from the country and there are tons of small towns nearby with fun history. Make sure you check out the museums of Carrabelle for a solid exposure to the area's history and role in WWII. Great stay, great host. Fantastic time.

This was one of the best homes we have had the opportunity to share! Beautifully decorated! The house is right on the beach and just steps from the ocean. The downstairs porch was great with lounge area with sofas, 2 tables with plenty of chairs and one of tables had a tabletop fire pit! The fire pit area on the beach was absolutely wonderful. We even enjoyed grilling fresh oysters on the beach and sitting around the fire! The rooms in the house are large. The beds very comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. We so appreciated the "welcome basket" with water, snacks, extra supplies and luxury toiletries! We also so appreciated the use of beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and fire wood. They also had available extra coolers, a beach wagon! We can't say enough about the Turtles Nest!! It is definitely a 10 plus! Thank you Amy for working with us and sharing your beautiful home! We will definitely be back! Just perfect and plenty of room for 6 plus people. Did I mention the cargo carrier!! GREAT for loading and unloading cargo up and into the house! We will look forward to returning!

The house was beautiful and immaculate. The master was spacious with a very comfortable adjustable king size bed. A large TV was mounted on the wall located perfectly to lay in bed and watch TV. All of the other bedrooms were spacious and supplied with all linens. The kitchen and dining area was spacious with a well stocked coffee bar. The welcome bags were awesome. The items in there were perfect for someone who just arrived and needs a quick snack and a quick drink of water. The sunrise from the front porch is breathtaking. There was plenty to do. There were bicycles kayaks for our use. There is a fire pit complete with plenty of wood to make beautiful fires in the evening. The lift prevented us from having to carry any items up and down the stairs and it made arrival and departure very simple. Between the welcome baskets and immediate response to our questions or concerns, Amy made the experience the best we’ve ever had renting a beach house. We found our home away from home and are so very pleased. See you next year (sooner if possible).
