Our stay at Hyatt Hotel was average at best. We have stayed at other hotels in PS for less, offering free breakfast and felt more comfortable in those hotels. Three issues we would like to bring up, besides the cost. 1. We were in a room across the street from the bar that kept us up most of the night with rowdiness and as elderly citizens, the staff should have known to place us on the other side of the hotel. It was not at full capacity. 2. There were obviously bed bugs as I was bitten 6 times in both my legs. Very disappointed! I insisted staff change the sheets which they did. 3. Parking, $30 a night and destination fee of $20 A DAY is really unnecessary and NOT likely to attract us to the Hyatt again. Disappointed to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary at this hotel with these issues!

Sad to say!

The staff was nice! That’s it! The rooms we had , were so old & not well kept! I think this place hasn’t been remodeled since the 70’s!!! The sofa was dirty , the walls banged up!! Everything felt dirty & old!!! Too bad! It’s sad, because I was excited to stay here & our group was so disappointed !

I had mixed feelings about my stay. Pros: The rooms are very spacious, and the location is great. Cons: The hotel is quite old, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The balcony was very dirty. I also experienced very poor service at the bar, which really affected my overall experience.

The counter in the bathroom had gunk on it when we checked in. Other than that it was clean, quiet and safe location. Parking was safe and allowed for easy in/out access. Great location when you’re in Palm Springs! If you’re low maintenance, this is a good option for a weekend getaway.

I have stayed at this Hyatt for over 20 years, occasionally for business and more often as a tourist. Unfortunately, things have slowly declined. The rooms no longer offer safes. The room didn't have a small pad of paper and pen. The carpets are becoming worn. The shower needs repair due to a slow leak. On the third day, there was no maid service available to make up the room despite two separate requests. Regardless, the staff is very nice and otherwise helpful. After 20+ years, though, I think this hotel needs a serious upgrade and I may check out other venues in the meantime.

I stayed at this hotel 35-40 years ago and it was premier, excellent, amazing, just beautiful. The lobby was exquisite-overflowing with guests. The rooms were huge and well kept. To say I was shocked and disappointed at what this hotel has become is an understatement. 1.The room had roaches as the previous guests. I had to ask housekeeping to come and remove the dead ones. 2. The room smelled as if there was a sewage problem. 3.The wall paper was peeling and buckling, noticeably. 4. The carpet was old and needed to be shampooed, if it's not going to be replaced. 5.The outside furniture to our private cabana was so stained and soiled that we had to cover it with towels. 6. The room obviously is not dusted when it is serviced. 7. There is no valet or bell service. 8. I ordered food for the cabana area connected to the room on Monday afternoon. I had to call the front desk Tuesday at 4 pm. to remove the plates that still had food on them. I thought it would have been automatic that room service would return and take the trays and plates away. 9. There is a powerful stench in the hallway that leads to the lobby and the same stench is in the parking garage. 10.The putting green that used to be an added attraction in front of the cabana suites is old, moldy and I would guess, not usable. I must say that the staff did an excellent job attempting to make up for the hotel's shortcomings. One could tell that they were embarrassed as well.Until they refurbish, Stay away!

The hotel is drab. The room was outdated. The bathroom was outdated and had rust in the shower. When I called the front desk (3 times) nobly answered. They also do not offer valet parking.

As for location, it is great to the downtown are of Palm Springs. The property is definitely showing its age and really needs a full renovation. The pool are looked sad, but the room was okay. The plumbing was very slow to drain, both shower and toilet.

The hotel is an homage to an era past. MCM vibes abound in the decor. However, other than the lobby area, the hotel is in dire need of attention. The rooms, while very clean, are old and tired. It is scruffy, dated, old, and rather depressing in the rooms. The location is fantastic. The rooms are huge. The staff were hot or miss. The restaurant was only open for breakfast Monday-Th. Not a full service hotel by any means. No room service. The housekeeping staff manage to keep the common areas and old rooms as clean as they can be. So kudos to them. I am quite surprised that The Hyatt puts its brand on the hotel and markets it as a full-service, upscale property. It is not.
