Historical 1937 Movie Colony Spanish Hacienda

The Palms 1937 is a historically significant Spanish Mediterranean hacienda reputed to have been built by Warner Brothers Studios. Walled, gated with lush landscaping and uninterrupted mountain views.

A gorgeous salt water pool and jacuzzi! Prestinly maintained interior, perfectly appointed furnishing and a great place to relax and enjoy our private setting.

Centrally located in the heart of Palm Springs and close to all of the restaurants, bars, casinos, museums and amazing hikes.

The Palms 1937 maintains its original character and charm while having been thoughtfully restored and upgraded to today's modern standards. Upgrades Include AC and furnaces, water heater and comprehensive entertainment, internet and security systems.

The house features two master suites (one king and the other a queen bed), each with newly restored ensuite bathroom, a third bedroom (queen bed) with adjacent bathroom and a renovated kitchen with high end stainless appliances and comfortable built in breakfast room with a large table.

A large converted garage also provides an additional living area, entertainment room with work space or 4th bedroom (queen size sofa bed) with french doors leading to the pool and private outdoor seating area.

A vaulted and open beam living room is the heart of the house and features an authentic wood burning Adobe corner fireplace and original sliding pocket doors that lead to a generous dining room and out to the beautifully landscaped garden with olive and citrus trees, a large salt water pool and jacuzzi (we can heat this up upon request for a nominal daily fee, an outdoor shower, dining area with large natural gas barbecue and a wood burning pizza oven. Ample lounge chairs and seating areas in the garden provide many spaces to rest and relax by the pool.

At the side of the property there's spacious gated off-street parking with room for four cars under a shaded pergola. Centrally located and close to downtown restaurants, casino and shops.

The palms 1937

Great. We thought there were four bedrooms. But one was a living room with 2 convertible couches. Maybe we werent paying attention. Outdoor shower is fine but should be made clearer that only two brs have showers.

Great stay in Palm Springs!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Steve O was super helpful in getting us settled and providing help with restaurant recommendations, etc. The property is lovely and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the backyard and pool are great for hanging out. We were two couples and the house was just the right size for us. The location is very central and easy to get to everything, both in Palm Springs and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

The house was absolutely perfect. Pictures do not do it justice. Every part was beautifully decorated and taken care of. Clean, chic and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. Steve was incredible and gave us the best service. Just perfect!

Movie Colony 1937

The property exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful 1937 home. The home was very well stocked with everything anyone could hope for. The property manager Steve was outstanding! We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and have never found anyone that was as exceptional as Steve in helping us with quick responses to our questions and assistance with anything we needed! We will be back.
