The room was nice not new but comfortable and clean. Get a room that faces the pool area. We asked for a view room and got a side street. Should have been more specific. Arrived to an employee in our room. Weird. She said she was making sure all was okay but we felt she was hiding out or sleeping on the couch. She left her radio on the couch and had to come back for it. Embarrassing for her. All other employees were nice. Pool area is beautiful. Loved the fireplaces. It’s close to downtown. And nice walk to all that is there. Would stay again.

The fact that self-parking was not free for the hotel that charges $450 for the night was a surprise. The staff was great. The room smelled unpleasant. We asked to change it. They changed the room and waved the parking charge.

Room was not cleaned when we arrived. Next day when we came back to the room almost 3 o’clock it hadn’t been cleaned again. Front Desk is not cooperative. They told us they were permitted to clean until 6 o’clock at night. I’ve never had this in any hotel anywhere in the world.

The hotel was nice enough, but in the garden planter area next to where I parked had a big leak in the sprinkler system that soaked my car and with the sun became hard water spots by the time I got to it. The staff didn’t seem to care so I drove away with a car that was essentially damaged by their negligence.
