The staff is so helpful, welcoming and friendly. We are locals that needed somewhere to stay last minute due to our home A/C going out. Here are the pros and cons…
Pros- Very nice lobby, free parking and free wifi.
The room was freezing cold when we walked in. Huge plus!
Dinner and breakfast are offered, but for a fee. They said they had room service but we didn’t use it.
They allowed us to check out late due to our A/C still being down the next morning. No extra charge.
If you have dogs, they are very dog friendly and the fee is reasonable. ($50, non refundable, for both dogs, not each)
It was very quiet overall.
Cons- The carpet had wet spots randomly and the desk chair, which is mesh, was soaking wet somehow and soaked my pants. (They did offer to clean them) We assume that the cleaning staff must have spilled something.
The platform bed frames stick out and my daughter bumped her knee pretty bad and has a huge bruise! I also ran into it a few times. Also the beds aren’t that comfortable. It was like sleeping on a springboard.
The carpet in the hallways is old and loose/wrinkled and needs to be replaced. There was also a weird smell in the hall.
There were small flying black bugs in our room. I saw at least two of them.
The refrigerator froze all of our food, frozen solid!
NO FREE BREAKFAST! Just a buffet that costs $16.
Overall it’s in a great area next to shops and restaurants. Very convenient for guests to have a selection to choose from.
