About this property
Modern farmhouse on majestic private peach orchard
Experience the charm of orchard living at our country retreat! Our thoughtfully designed guesthouse provides modern comforts but allows for the feeling of private country living.
Welcome to CCR Orchards, your private retreat on our peaceful five-acre orchard in the heart of Palisade. Surrounded by some of Western Colorado's most iconic landscapes, you'll enjoy views of Mt. Garfield to the north, Grand Mesa to the east, and the Colorado National Monument to the west. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of local wine, you're never far from a beautiful view.
Enjoy your cup of coffee or glass of wine on your patio or stretch your legs and pick some complementary peaches in the picturesque peach orchard with Mt. Garfield in the background. The guesthouse is also within walking/biking distance of multiple local wineries that offer delicious food, wine and evening activities.
One of the highlights of your stay is access to our working orchard. During peach season, we invite you to wander the orchard at your own pace and enjoy complimentary fresh peaches picked straight from the trees (season and harvest permitting). It's one of our favorite parts of living here, and we're excited to share it with our guests.
The guesthouse sits on the same property as our primary residence, but you'll have your own private guesthouse, patio, parking area, and entrance. We value your privacy and want you to feel completely at home. While we're nearby if you need recommendations or assistance, we'll happily give you as much space as you'd like.
Inside, the guesthouse was designed with connection and comfort in mind. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates the perfect place to gather—whether you're sharing a meal, playing board games, enjoying a movie, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of Palisade wine.
The bedroom is thoughtfully located on the opposite end of the guesthouse from the main living space, providing separation and privacy. While there is not a door enclosing the bedroom area, its layout offers a comfortable retreat for sleeping and unwinding. For additional guests, the living room sofa converts into a queen-size pull-out bed featuring an upgraded mattress for added comfort. To help you enjoy a restful night's sleep, all windows are equipped with room-darkening shades.
Our family, including two doodles—live in the primary home. We're an active family that loves spending time outdoors, socializing with friends and family, attending local events and keeping up on our property's maintenance. Depending on the time of day, you may see us working around the property, coming or going, or enjoying the outdoors. We genuinely enjoy sharing this special place with others, but we also respect your vacation. If you prefer complete privacy, we'll gladly keep our distance while remaining available should you need anything.
From March through July, you'll also be greeted by a little extra farm charm with our kid's seasonal 4-H chickens and turkeys. Their occasional sounds are simply part of the authentic country life experience and a favorite feature for many guests.
Whether you're waking up and watching the sun rise over Grand Mesa from the kitchen window or the bedroom, picking a fresh peach from the orchard, staring at the unbelieveable view of Mt. Garfield from the dining table, or ending the day watching the sun go down from the patio and snuggling up to the fire pit beneath a sky full of stars , we hope you'll feel the peace and beauty that make CCR Orchards such a special place to call home—even if only for a few days.
