Beautiful property, very comfortable room regarding space, bed & temperature. We had a junior suite with balcony. Housekeeping staff needs a bit help. Each day we had to go to the front desk for items they forgot to restock. Otherwise, nice location.

After experiencing their wonderful property in Taormina, this hotel was a big letdown. The staff was unfriendly and at times outright rude. Access is very inconvenient—there’s no way to arrive by car, and guests are left to walk at least three blocks with luggage, as the hotel offers no assistance or service to help. Yes, it’s on the main street in Palermo, but that’s about the only positive. Breakfast was just average with limited options, and the night staff in particular were unhelpful and unpleasant. Overall, not what I expected from an NH Collection property.

NH Collection Palermo was fantastic! Perfect location, welcoming and helpful staff, and a beautifully comfortable room. The only minor drawback was parking, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommend!

Solid hotel choice

Overall, we had a nice stay. The staff was very warm & welcoming. We opted to stay in a Jr Suite, which was quite nice. And, unlike all of the other hotels we stayed in while visiting Palermo, this one has decent WiFi and exceptional air conditioning. My only complaint is that the gym and steam room are not currently operational, despite their website claiming otherwise. It is highly likely that we would stay here again, just wish they had an honest/accurate website.

A week in Palermo

This is a really lovely hotel in an amazing street in Palermo. It’s made up from three properties one of which was a monastery. The staff are really lovely the breakfast was excellent and the air conditioning was superb which was fabulous as the temperature was so high. We did the bus tour and visited the cathedral which was amazing. We also did the Mafia tour which was fascinating.

We had a three night stay in May 2025. Check in was easy and after a small glitch in the room we were immediately moved to another room on the same floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent as a jumping off point. Only element missing might be a nice spot outdoors for an evening or happy hour beverage (rooftop or outside in front of the hotel).

Good stay at Palazzo Sitano

The hotel is very convenient for the historic centre of Palermo also an easy walk to Centrale rail station (we went on to Rome by train after our stay). Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable but slightly disorganised (had run out of knives at one point on both mornings and plates on one) but the setting, a room clearly part of the old palace with a high arched ceiling, also good coffee individually made, more than made up. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful particularly when we needed help finding the starting point of the free walking tour (fully recommended by the way). We would go back..
